Been in love with this band since 2000 and they just keep getting better and better. They have been there for me in miraculous ways at times. When my dad died unexpectedly back in 2001 I had to go back to Detroit and it was rough. Once we were through the whole ordeal of burying him, I was looking for something to take my mind off of it and guess what? Cheese was playing in Ann Arbor that night! What a surprise especially being 2000 miles from home. It helped the healing process so much. Fast forward and they were the last band I saw before the pandemic and the first band I saw after the pandemic. With about 100 shows in between. Cheese will always hold a very special place in my heart.
First time I saw them was in 98 and I was a huge grunge metal fan. You know the type jamming Tool and Primus in the lot saying nothing was as good as them. I had never seen SCI and they played with Panic. Man the cheese changed my 18 year old mind on music that night. I still like some good metal but nothing like a good Cheese show.

The Ann Arbor show is one of my faves.
God i frikking love cheese im dieing to see them again they were my very first show back in 2002 or 2001 not 100 percent but fell in love over 20 years ago.. lad to see their still playing and bill nurshies still there as well.. not sure if i spelled his name right but.. he had white/greyish hair then lol…

I went to see SCI for 1st time in Wilmington last Tues. Bitter dissappointment only because after 1 hr of great entertainment and badly needed social interaction Security evacuated the outdoor venue. They said we'll let you back in after
weather passes. It did by 9pm so we were ready to ROCK only to he told this town has a 9pm HARD NOISE CURFEW. WTF! I was invited back for 2nd night but had to drive 200 miles again after work all day Naaaaa! I will not go back since now I know no partying after 9pm.( Greenfied Lake Amphitheatre) 1200 person venue COZY but not late enough on the CURFEW! I really feel better after seeing this but miss the PEOPLE!
