Found a 23 XLT Avalanch Gray Powerboost Hybrid with the fx4 package and 7.2Kw powerboard, with less than 11K miles. Picking it up from CarMax for $49,998. Didnt want to pay 15-20K more for a 24. I know its a little higher cost than I would like but love the options and the color I have always wanted.
What they’re charging for new F-150’s, Powerboost or not, is insane. I think you made the right choice and skipped a good portion of the depreciation doing so. I hope you enjoy your new truck, Avalanche is a favorite of mine too. Thank you for watching!
Hey Cal great review! I really like this particular model of the F150. I have heard that the dealers in some areas are giving pretty good discounts on full sized pickups. I hope that you are doing great. Oh yeah we got a decent amount of rain here lol!
Raining here too it’s been raining all morning! I appreciate you watching James! I think this hybrid system is like $4495 extra over a standard EcoBoost 3.5. I think if it were me, because I’m a sucker for nostalgia (my last ford I owned was just a 3.5L) I would just buy the standard 3.5L EcoBoost without the hybrid system. Not because the hybrid system is bad, but I just like the simplicity of only having an engine to think about in the vehicle. Plus the 3.5L even without the hybrid system still makes incredible power! Such a fun truck to drive!
Oh wow that is a big price jump for the hybrid. I had 2 F150s and each had the 4.6 which was fine. Sorry that you are getting rained on. It's cool and cloudy here for now. Enjoy the rest of your day brother! @@CEALLIFORNIA
The sticker price on vehicles today is getting crazy. I think I’ll stick with something more stable in value. Perhaps a Gen 1 Raptor! They’ve had plenty of time to depreciate and the 6.2L will last forever! 😂
I'm not the owner of this one, but I did have great luck with my 2014 that had the 3.5L EcoBoost. Ran it up to 167,000 miles before selling. Looking to get back into a Ford after I'm done with my Chevy if it's any consolation! Good luck in the hunt and make sure you're checking prices on a national level to make sure you're getting a fair deal. Thank you for watching!
Had to comment... he puts the tailgate down and talks about the uses of the outlets maybe for a saw... or coffee maker lol... he then talks about the ruler being there for maybe a fisherman to measure a fish lol... why not keep with the "saw" idea and say it's a ruler for measuring wood and you can cut the wood with your saw which plugs in right there in the bed of the truck. Maybe do a little more research about a vehicle before doing a video on it. Maybe at least talk to a salesman to get the selling points.
Maybe the wood you're cutting is longer than the tailgate! 😂 I'm sorry this was my third video I ever did. I'm trying to get better! Thank you for watching!
@@therocket1848 Thank you haha. Trust me I cringe just as hard as you do watching these older videos back, but I keep them up as a reminder to where my videos started.
Sissies drive crew cabs with short beds, so they won’t need to plug in a saw or any tool that could hurt their soft hands. Ford management has steered the country off of the rails with these twinky trucks. I saw a really dumb version of this truck without a trailer hitch. Proof that this is a girly mans toy twuck.

@@jameswalsh6131 I’ll be reviewing today in the rain but it’s all good. Part of the job! 😂Thanks dude Have a good day today !
Crew cabs and 5.5’ beds are made for girly men. This twuck is made to carry people and an armload of groceries. That’s it.
I own one like this 302 5.0….love it
It’s a great truck! The XLT Appearance package makes it POP!
The tail gate ruler is for construction, the map is Lansing Michigan , where this truck is assembled.
The tailgate ruler is a neat touch!
The tailgate ruler is for girly men who want to show off the twuck in front of the neighbors.
I got a 22 platinum for $65k 4x2. It’s crazy what they’re asking for a used XLT today with 2,500 miles

Any problems so far ? Been looking at the exact same spec.

Ford makes the best trucks (but you didn’t hear it from me) 👀
@@CEALLIFORNIA 🤣🤣🤣 Yeah, that's likely the way I would go.
@CEALLIFORNIA: About how much for your XLT model ?
This one was priced around $64k
@@CEALLIFORNIA: Thank You
Does it need hi test gas?
I run 87 only and she runs just fine. There’s no note on the gas door that says it needs 93, so I just run 87.
How much for t his model? What is the mpg?
@@frankkeel8410$64,460 and according to Edmunds around 24mpg combined.
Map of Dearborn Michigan, where is made
And interesting! I was wondering where they came up with this map to put on there. I think it’s a cool touch
It’s actually a map of Detroit. Pretty cool they included it!
@@Spartanfan0514 I like that Ford adds cool details and Easter eggs in their trucks.
Make some community polls
Will be adding some soon!

@@shannonkelly2376 Hi!
Less than I expected. Buy the extended warranty.
Not a bad idea at all
