the idea of making a font of your own handwriting is nice but i find that handwriting my own notes instead of just typing them actually makes me remember better - but for titles its probably not worth the stress of trying to get it perfect haha

@AlohaBella It’s going good if your gonna get one and do notes and stuff I recommend seeing how your hand writing looks, for example I went to my friends house and wrote a bit on her iPad to see how it would look I also decided to make the decision to get it at a store rather than online because generally at stores they have tester iPads where you go and see what they are like before buying them I also recommend getting the magic keyboard it’s helps a lot so it sorta doubles as a computer and iPad at the same time, Byeee hope this helped ✨🦋

How can I see the practice sheet? Thank you for sharing.
What grip do you use? I currently use NIU grip. But, they are wearing and stretching fast. I would love a good recommendation for a full coverage option. Do you have a preference of hard case coverage vs silicone? I like having the wide grip. However, I do a lot of designing and note taking so I need to comfort without the constant replacement.

Just a small note , quick notes has a very easy and fun to use calligraphy pen . It does the thickened downstrokes automatically. I can’t say it’ll have the exact same look as if you were to learn to do it yourself with applying pressure but…it is so fun to use, makes me want to keep writing

Unfortunately, the latest version of Procreate seems not to have the streamline setting for that brush.
It does actually it’s just hidden
Click on the brush then go to stabilization and that’s it
It’s amount btw not pressure

Hello what is your setup to do calligraphy , because I follow on what’s onn your video but it doesn’t work for me. Can u help me? I practice procreate and notebook 5 in my iPad but it’s hard to do calligraphy I cannot achieved the thick line in the end only in the beginning .
I have an another pen and when I press brush pen on good notes and start to write it writes like a normal pen and not like a brush pen. Do u know why?

Hello! Idk if my brush pen on good notes doesn’t work or maybe it’s because my Apple Pencil is not original but no matter the pressure I make, the lines are equally thick. Any advice for this?
Oh god same, been trying out that calligraphy on goodnotes and it didn’t work for me lol. And i’m not using a orignal apple pencil too :/
the thing is right- your lines are coming out so thick but mine arent- idk why but im scared to apply pressure with the apple pencil on the ipad because I just feel like it'll break

so I have a question...you said you use the paperlike as a screen cover, does it affect or hurt your apple pencil in any way? Has it ever been worn out? Because i'm kind of worried that a mat screen protector will damage the pencil...
It does you have to change the Apple Pencil front piece more often

On my goodnotes(when I use the brush pen),it doesn’t really go that thick even when I put it a max.I also see that you do your titles on GoodNotes slow but for mines I have to do it fast to get the brush thickness.Is there anything I can do?
You can do the title on procreate. You just draw it then you take off the background color and import it as a png and then you add the picture into GoodNotes , personally it is much easier

0:42 you actually don’t need an iPad PRO you can use the iPad Air, iPad mini or the standard iPad it doesn’t really matter if you don’t need a lot of layers on Procreate ( btw the video is helpful ❤)😊😊😊
Can you send me your own calligraphy font in good notes?
With calligraphy I always struggle between lifting my pen and getting cleaner strokes, and not lifting my pen until the end of a word (which is what I was taught from young when I learned cursive).
It's a serious dilema!!

YES I have this exact same problem 😭 my faux calligraphy looks better than when I try to do hand lettering the proper way

You're writing with a GoodNotes 5 brush pen, aren't you? Even if I write with the same brush pen, there is not much difference in thickness, what should I do?
Later, when I changed the size of the pen from 0.5 to 1.5, I was able to make a difference in thickness. Thank you very much.
