I use the Neutrogena and la roche posay one on my face. 40% and 30% glycerin is better than any hyaluronic acid. It's marketed as a hand cream but it doesn't matter
@@lauren8627 It's water based since the moisture comes from the glycerin not any oils and fat's. I actually have a BIG milia problem so that's funny to me 😂
@@Tttt28882 Glycerin actually gets into skin and gets moisturize from small blood vessels and stays there. It's also longer lasting in the skin so you don't get dry quickly. Hyaluronic acid may work for you in your humid climate.
Eucerin should be the first on that list. Oh! Thank God she did mention it after all, I was going to protest😊. This list has awakened a higher trust in Dr. Dray. I just subbed
A tip from someone I know who works with cement for landscaping is to put on the Norwegian thick Ointment on your hands & then put on the disposable latex gloves right before bedtime. Sleep with that on, take it off in the morning and wash hands. 😉
I get chronic dry, cracked and bleeding hands in winter. The best I’ve found so far are the Neutrogena Norwegian one and the Cerave reparative one. Wish I could find a cruelty free one though!
I have some sensory issues so most lotions are a no for me. I can’t have anything that I can feel on my skin, that doesn’t absorb, or that feels greasy. So I use gold bond lotions because they absorb fully and don’t leave greasiness behind. It’s the best. (Vanicream is good too but doesn’t beat it.)
Hello Dr. Dray. Just a quick question. Which one is better, Neutrogena hand cream or their cica hand cream? I want a hand cream that's intense in keeping my hands moisturized this winter but doesn't make me feel greasy or sticky
There is a German foundation that tests all kinds of products. It’s called “Stiftung Warentest”. I don’t know about this creme specifically, but Eucerin got an f multiple times. And mind you they do give out d’s and c’s, so they had to be really bad. My dermatologist recommended one to me which got an f, so I switched to another dermatologist, and got a different recommendation..
been loving using LRP cicaplast b5-baume layered with vaseline and cotton moisturizing gloves for the hand eczema I've been going through since starting accutane
Ive been using Neutrogena hand cream since the 80s...i use it everywhere...even as a under eye cream....i also use a smidget on my face in the winter...when i buy it...i get 3 at a time....its a phenomenal product.❤
The absolute best hand cream I've ever found is Dr. Greenfield Hand Shield. It absorbs completely, is thoroughly moisturizing and fragrance free. I've been using it for 30 years.
Yup I can confirm the Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream is AMAZING! My hands have always been like sand paper, literally. They are always SO freaking dry like the damn desert, even in the summer. It doesn't matter what climate or time of year.....but after using the Eucerin hand cream for a while now, my hands have completely changed.
I have a sensory thing where i cannot handle the feeling of oil stripped, non-moisturized skin on my hands touching the air. It feels like sensory hell for me. So any and every single time my hands touch water I HAVE to have to have to put cream of any type on & have been since I was a kid. I have extremely soft, young looking hands lol my hands look younger than the rest of me
It's not necessary but if you have issues with dry hands then it'll help more then using a body lotion. Sunscreen has a dif purpose then a hand cream but it's good to apply
I have heard great things about hypochlorous acid spray for rosacea. I use it too but I don't have rosacea. Look it up - hypochlorous acid occurs naturally in your skin.
Is Aveeno basic version not good? I really like the texture and have been using for years but sometimes my eczema still flares because I wash my hands so much
That’s what my kid’s Pediatrician told me yesterday! We were there for his well visit so I asked about his hands which he had showed me while sitting in the waiting room. My son’s hands are cracked, red, scaley they’re so chapped it looks painful. Going out to buy Aquaphor & LRP or Neutrogena today to try different ones to see what works best for him. Thanks!
Hey Dr Dray, how would one go about layering sunscreen and Vaseline if possible. I love using Vaseline now that the weather is getting drier especially in the mornings but I’m not sure how or if Vaseline would interfere with my sunscreen protection.
The best ever handcream I've used is du'it tough hands. I work all day at a butchers shop and florist so my hands are cracked beyond you can imagine. This cream will help heal them within 24 hours. Believe me try it
Is it okay to use petroleum jelly on my feet? I am looking for something, a cream, gel or even feet mask any product that would hydrate the skin because I noticed the skin on my feet drying especially on the ankle area
Yes, of course you can put it on your feet. You can literally put it all over your body, including your face. So of course you can put it on your feet. It works wonders. Lather Vaseline all over your feet and put on socks and go to sleep like that. Works wonders.
😂😂😂 ,it might be your skin type or somethin, also ain’t no harsh ingredients in this all of the ingredients just make your hands less dry so you probably are smoking somethin tbh
I think that's just an expression she used that means "not to be ignored," or "not to be forgotten." There would be no reason you couldn't wear hand cream to bed literally.
She can't, she's not in India. I like the minimalist moisturizer with ceramides for dry skin. Size is tiny though. They need to make a body version or a larger size

Eucerin with urea is the best hand cream I've ever tried. Period. I even use it for my heels. Works like a charm.
Can it be slept on?
Does it have sunscreen as well?
Urea keeps my heels so soft.

Isn’t the Norwegian one cruelty free?
@harrietxo2310 No Neutrogena unfortunately is not cruelty free. I wish I could find a cruelty free option too...

I use the La roche Posay hand cream as my face moisturiser since at least a year. It’s the best moisturiser you can find.
I'm loving Skinfix's hand cream w/ colloidal oatmeal and sweet almond oil plus so many other moisturizing and calming ingredients
Came back to watch (snow just hit here in the MW) and confirmed, sticking with my tried-and-true Netrogena Hand Cream. Thanks Dr. Dray!
Excited to be here this evening Dr Dray . Thanks for sharing these great products have a good night.
Could you please recommend options with SPF? Thank you for your amazing content, Dr. Dray! God bless you ❤🙏🙏
Yes! I was just going to ask for one with SPF and anti-aging benefits
I think she has a video on this already
Neutrogena has at least one option with SPF. It's called Visibly Renew, SPF 20.
LRP and Neutrogena are my favourites!

The LRP mains is good stuff. The Trader Joe’s cream is good for maintenance with Shea butter.

Aww that sucks! Hand eczema like dryness or dyshidrotic eczema?
I have heard that the cicaplast is good for lip lines as well.
Any chemicals that will mimic hormones?
Can we get a video shorts for affordable sunscreens that's good around the eye area?
I use Vaseline at night and argan oil during the day. My hands get so dry during thr winter.
The burst of energy when you talk about petroleum jelly ❤ lol

Any with SPF?
I highly recommend the Neutrogena hand cream! I love to use this before I go to bed.
I love all of them but I really wish they have a smaller version for small purse. The only reason I stick with l'occitane hand cream is for the size
Eucerin has a very small bottle to carry in your purse. I have it
These all are small
That gold bond one worked wonders on my hand eczema 🎉
Best one I've ever tried is the Pommade Concrète from Buly. Not cheap, but so effective.
Thank You Dr. Dray!! Have a Wonderful Evening!!🙏💟🙏

What is a good hand cream to help with anti-aging?
Find a cream with retinol or use a vit a derivative on the back of your hands at pm
