- Just an update about future content and what's going on with the G37. It's almost time to rip in the G37 again! Import Performance Transmissions took care of the refresh quickly and i'm pumped to see what she does with fresh clutches. My transmission is a RE7R01A 7 speed auto.
Big thanks to my brother Mike for lending a hand today. L's and lots of them, that's what we're giving out. Stick around to see what's going on in the near future!

How much quarts of fluid did you use for the fill procedure?
Did you have the torque converter inside the transmission?
Yes.
What is that black piece covering the drive plate
The black piece with the white writing on it? That's an aftermarket Fast Intentions flex plate.
Were you able to add the fluid with the transmission out?
The fluid is added with the transmission in the car.
@Garage Fanatic thanks. Did you know you can add a fill tube from an 08 g37 coupe? Bolts right on. When i found out i ordered one for myself.
@@sneakypete2656 yes, but it's messier than my method. I can fill with my fitting until it overflows from the tube hole.
Did the ecu need to be reprogrammed after?
Not for stock functionality. But, torque demand and trustful will need to be adjusted to command more fluid pressure for high horsepower applications.

2013 G37 sport sedan
Are coupe and sedan different transmissions ?
No.
They are I’ve had issues putting a coupe tranny in a sedan
