This map definitely needs a refresh but ED is probably too busy building the other two maps to worry about it. Good flying!!! I can't wait till we get seamless troop and vehicle loading and unloading.
Thanks. And whoa. Map discussions can be exhausting. But here are my 2 cents: Some newer maps apparently use satellite images, containing shadows etc of terrain features that aren't actually there. Looks very nice from high up. But for helicopters, what at first looks like slopes in a hilly area, can turn out to be completely flat. Can be bad for several reasons. In that regard I still do like the Caucasus map. Textures look simpler than in newer maps. But they are consistent with what is there. Visual shadows and terrain features are _actually_ there, not just mirages. Syria is my personal favorite, combines the aforementioned qualities of the Caucasus map with newer static models and more details (for houses etc). And yeah, having actual loading/unloading animations would be awesome!
