This is my cinema rig. I shoot all of my professional films, commercials and general professional video work with this camera setup. It's a total work horse and still pretty budget friendly for a cinema camera rig.
The setup is relatively simple. For starters, the camera body I'm using is the Canon 6D Mark II. Yes, it's a 6 year old camera at this point, but it's in my price range and has all the features I need for an amateur cinema camera.
My lens of choice is the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8. It's a versatile zoom lens that's great at many things. However, it does have one downfall, which is the image quality. But, you really only notice it if you pixel peep.
The microphone we're using is the Boya BY-MM1 Shotgun Microphone. It's an extremely cheap mic that really packs a punch. It comes with a lot of accessories, has decent enough audio quality, and is super lightweight and portable.
Then we have the ND filter. What I'm using is an 82mm K&F Concept ND8 to ND128. It only costs about $80, yet it's still outstanding! The image quality is awesome, the build quality is pretty good too, and my favorite, it has hard stops!
And finally is the camera cage itself. This is the Camvate Camera Cage. It's a very budget friendly cage that goes for $82 on Amazon. This cage has endless mounting options, a great build quality, and fits a variety of cameras. Definitely worth checking out!
This camera rig has helped me shoot some of my best work. It's allowed me to capture amazing cinematic footage and has opened up an entire world of creativity.

What do you think of this rig?
Just got one. Was going to go with rp because of the 4k but with a cropped non dual pixel 4k I figured 6d be better at least for photography.
Yeah in my opinion I think the 6DM2 is overall a better camera.

Depends on the diameter of your lens. It's somewhere written on the lens with the little diameter emblem!
