Thank you so much for making this video. I bought the swearing pattern and I now have a lot more confidence on how to make it because of your video. You’re awesome.
This is an excellent tutorial. I am lucky i was sujested this video, as i am trying to learn to knit the froggies (already bough the patterns). Thank you kindly
I’m soooo excited I just bought the frog and sweater pattern and this is gonna be my first ever knitting project! I love crocheting and have struggled with learning to knit in the past but I love this froggy so much and these videos you made are very helpful!! Thank you!
I just got this pattern and I am excited to try it. I am glad I found your video!!! I am just very confused with the part when you use 3 needles. Could you make a more detailed video explaining how to make the sleeves?
In the sweater pattern, row 13 begins to reference (right back) and (left back). CN you help explain what this means? Im not sure what the pattern wants me to do. Thanks again!
Oh yess that part was challenging for me too. Basically you are working the sweater as one flat piece, whereas sweaters are more of a tube you slide onto your body (circular). So on your needles, the stitches in order will be: half of the back of the sweater, then an arm sleeve, then the front of the sweater, then another sleeve then lastly the other half of the back of the sweater. If it was knitted in the round then both these back halves would be connected like the front. So basically "left back" is the left-hand side of the back panel of the sweater, "right -back" is the right-hand side of the back panel. Then when you finish you sew the left and right back sides together to complete the entire back
*knitting seems easier than crocheting* me, a crocheter since the age of 8, trying to knit and miserably failing finding it hard: '👁️👄👁️... *nervously sweating and lowkey crying inside-*
I feel you, I learnt how to crochet in lockdown and I'm quite skilled now. Then last December I tried knitting and I literally cried lol. Now it's better and I managed to knit Claire garland's frog. Now I'm attempting the frog's jumper but I have some problems with the pattern so i hope this video will be helpful 🥰
Couldn’t you also put the stitches on hold with a stitch holder/knit extension cord/scrap yarn until you knit that on hold part later (like with a classic raglan sweater) instead of having to use multiple needles and dealing with the awkwardness?
Hey thanks for getting back to me, sorted that part out but you know the separating the sleeves once you’ve separated them do you work on them separately as in you leave them alone intierly and come back to them once you’ve finished front and back or are you still working in rows the whole time doing it all at the same time x
Once you get to the sleeves you separate those stitches from the front and back stitches, you continue to work on only the front and back so they are attached together under the sleeve armpits. Then once the body is all done you back and finish each sleeve individually. Hope that helps!
Honestly, not really. If you tend to have variable tension, so some stitches are looser than other, blocking can help even out all the stitches, but it's not necessary. :)
Knitting normally doesn't change the number of stitches, if i started with 20 stitches on my needle and then knitted all the way across I'd still have 20 stitches. Unless I'm doing an increase row, however. :)

Ahahahahahhahah ya know, you aren't alone there 😂 this is just my opinion lol they are both easy in some ways and hard in different ways
Lol same 🤣

Attracted by the cover of your video. Damn cute little frog.😂
Thank you so much!
Wonderful 🐸💯

Definitely you could! When I made this video I didn't own a stitch holder 😂
thanks so much this is really helpful
I'm so glad you found it helpful!! 🐸💕
thank you you helped a lot🥹
Tarifi türkçe halinde yok mu yada pdf olarak yabancı dilde olabilir varsa bende örebilirim minik kurbağayı
may i ask, how many stitches do you need for the first row?
25
More clothes plis, i love it
Hey, you’ve done quite a few rows before you start the sleeve part I’ve got the same patten but the patten is saying row 13 to start the sleeve part

I just started working on the little Frog Sweater! Did you find blocking this tiny sweater important to do?
Honestly, not really. If you tend to have variable tension, so some stitches are looser than other, blocking can help even out all the stitches, but it's not necessary. :)
@@livlafluv5075 Thanks Liv!
Hello!
Good morning, I would like to buy some frogs, do you have an online store? Or is there a way to order them? they are for Mexico
for the first one with knit and purl, how come the number of stitches on the needle doesn't seem to grow on yours?
Knitting normally doesn't change the number of stitches, if i started with 20 stitches on my needle and then knitted all the way across I'd still have 20 stitches. Unless I'm doing an increase row, however. :)
Could you tell me what size needles you used on this sweater?
Yes, I used US size 4 needles for the froggy and sweater :)
