@@whydontyouremember No, it was fill hole plus another tool. In maya it can be the tool who conect all vertex into center point, i can do holes fast doing this!
is there any other alternative software to maya for hard surface modeling, which will give me the same result but is easier to work and also workflow is faster than maya's ?
it's tooooooo fast even though i play it with x0.25 speed ;( but helpful. i just wanna know what did you press, what tool you use. all i can do is find what it is similar in maya
Hey Dima, thanks for reply, i dont think that in maya 2016 exist such feature i guess it only came in maya 2018, at least i dont have it in maya 2017s, probably Zen or ZhCG, but nice that Autodesk finally added it.
CAD modeling and SubD modeling are two different concepts that serve different purpose most of the time, and as the video title states it this is a hard surface modeling practice with subdivision modeling.

at 3:56 you got a marking menu with display options (subd preview, wireframe etc) how do you get that up please?
Loved it. Even if I don't know french this was really useful.
Even though I don't understand a thing written, this has been helpful :) Thank you!
+UnknownAngeI You're welcome ! The text in the video is french but I've tried to make every step clear for anybody to understand :)
Hello, what script did you use on 14:06?
Here this is:
www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/scripts/loop-regularizer
14:50 how did you add a primitive cylinder into a object instead of grid?
You can do that with the Make Live feature :)

@@theadnart1 Thank you!
Finally I can but my 4 years of studying french to use!
15:35 how do you make the cap so fast?

Superbe boulot.
how to add edges?

Modo or Blender 2.8.
not really, they are all similar.

Miss you bb
This be made in a CAD within 5 minutes...why bother with Maya

Try C4D, the interface is much more user friendly and you are able to do pretty much the same things as maya
Try blender with Hard Ops add-on
There are lots of Ngons and triangles. Bad modelling
