Hi your advices here are excellent. I followed your method 2 and it fully worked. It has save years of WhatsApp history now we can retire the old phone. Just a note on your instructions. On the iBackup app on PC the media folder is not correct but it the one under message folder. The WAZZUP Migrator app instruct that. And that's it. It worked. On method 3 via Dr Fone, I had massive problems. It can restore my data but it is stuck as an illegal installation of WhatsApp. I cannot save a back up in phone. And the WhatsApp is suspended in Google and I can back up on my Goggle drive. When I reinstall a new one all data is lost. My WhatsApp is data empty although my group chat titles are there. Thanks for your guidance. Now I can sleep.

They won't appear on whatsapp app,,u can just view it on your mail,they wont be exported to your whatsapp ,,uploader should have told that in the video

The only challenge I experienced was that I couldn't locate the old version of whatsapp, but if you go through the comments on wazzapmigrator you'll see an updated link for the old whatsapp, once you download it follow the instructions and it will work. The key is that when you retrieve ur messages the old whatsapp doesn't work, so you have to download the new one and restore backups and ur good to go. I have all my message now, I just don't have some of the photos related to some of the chats but I didnt need them. Remember I used the second step, that's the one that worked for me.

The first method does not work if you want to import the chat. It can only be used to export the chat.
