    Cap’n you’re gonna love it!
When I got my first grapple, I had an idea about what I could do with it. How naive was I?
Let me tell you…. That has been 10 years. Those few tasks have grown at least ten fold. Every year I find more. Moving logs, unloading railroad ties, pulling grapevines out of trees, loading and unloading tractor buckets from my trailer, pulling briars out of the ground by their roots, plucking leaf dams out of my ditches, loading scrap metal into the trailer…. Oh! The things you’ll do that you’ve not even thought about.
Your grapple will be your ‘Go-To’ implement of choice. Mine is on my loader more often than the bucket!
Now, comes the next question. What type of grapple best fits your needs? You might want to look at one with separate top claws. They work best when dealing with stones, logs and stumps. The single claws (like that one) are best for brush and uniformly sized loads.
I know you’ll find the right one… and this kit will certainly run it!

Guess we're gonna have to send you over to work with Matt at Diesel Creek so you can learn the happy dance for when things come together. Mike (Dirt Perfect) went there for training and showed us his new moves when he got his manlift sorted out.

So you can switch from one end to the other. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone. 😎👍

Love how you take a pause at various junctures to spell out little details like “t&p” and “a&b” for the layperson. They may already know it, might not care why it is labeled that way but know how it works, or even be someone who will never need to know but like to learn. Of course I left out the person who might need to know, who doesn’t …and will move ahead now with a project with blind confidence because if one man can do it, so can another (disclaimer assumed).
I have this running internal joke (w/ me, myself, and I) that says every time you do something on that 555…you are trying to see just how long you can put off getting something (anything) put down as a floor in your cab. I get it too….your time, and your steel scraps are treasures to be guarded and protected. This morning, I had a thought which might move it up from “never” on the list: you need steering improvement weight that will return when you reverse the weight reduction modifications the last owner implemented. I understand that there will be trade offs with the open floor concept disappearing but you will figure out how to live without it. 😂
Keep the content flowing…your posts are the first to get watched every time. Some of my other favorites are building up a back log but I am fully current on all of yours (both channels). 🎉

$600 for the hoses and some fittings 😳. That hurt just a little. The smile on your face when you first tested the grapple was priceless. Stay safe Captain.

Just added a grapple on our Skid Steed yesterday ( did a 2 hr hand brushing job in 20 min) you are going to love it) take care with where the hoses hook to the unit It's a nasty pinch point

I've damaged them before on a skid steer hook up. I'm gonna be curious the best solution for this setup

All you need to do for a case drain is to run a smaller line back to the top of the hydraulic tank. Some hydraulic tanks will have bungs up top for them, or you can drill one.

I bought and installed a summit kit on my tractor 4 years ago best thing I ever done to the tractor! Grapple and post/tree puller is definitely my favorite thing to use on the front.
