Girl!!! I was laughing so hard at you trying to read the labels!! ( we feel your pain haha). I can’t wait to see the white splatter video. FYI... the triangle thingies- Jennifer McGuire drops them in her embossing powder container and uses them as a scoop. I also use them when doing die cuts that have itty bitty pieces

I have what looks like a recipe box but was made for guest addresses and vendor contact info for my wedding (which was over 23 yrs ago!) and I love it! I don’t have the husband anymore but I do have a convenient way to look up addresses! Win-win!

Very excited to see your white splatters comparison. I do already have 2 of the white options you shared. Yes yes yes do the test for the best white splatters! I did a small test of my own but had different results on different types of papers including black paper. Then because I don’t splatter everything very often I basically forgot which one did which. So it’s swatching time for me!!

Looks like a fun shopping haul. I actually use that We R Memory Keepers Punch Board Storage for my kids and my family's Kindles and Phones charging station. It is great with so many possibilities beside just Punch Boards! Happy Holidays and Happy Hopeful New Year!!

Yes...such a great, timeless item. lol
I thought I would share my hack for those little triangle trays. I got them to use for beading projects. I'm talking seed beads here. They are difficult to keep wrangled in to one small work space. The biggest problem is that, while I use a beading blanket for two to three little piles, sometimes projects use several different beads in a onesy, twosy kind of way. Those little plastic trays are great for holding bigger beads, but seed beads will bounce out (I think they do it on their own) and you end up chasing them down with your needle! I took some flannel scraps and cut out the tray shapes, sides too, and glued them to the inside of the trays. Now my beads are contained and are easier to keep under control.

I am so taken with the new Scrapbook.com storage capabilities BUT downsizing homes has eliminated a dedicated craft room and has me scrounging for small areas in several rooms, so now limited by places to PUT great small organizers. (I’m lobbying to repurpose the unused dining room. 😁) Glad your busy life is allowing more crafting time for you...and for us!

The dining room is the ONE room I will NOT allow to be anything BUT the dining room!! I'm determined that before I die we WILL "party" again, and that is the one space designated for that purpose. (The "living room" has been given over to toy train layouts; one bay of the garage is for 3 MORE hobbies!!) I DO have space for a short bookcase behind the sofa, next to breakfast area, in which I can have bookcases, so I plan on making boxes for dies, stamps, & embossing folders that'll reside there. To disguise them I plan on making "fronts" that look like books. Best laid plans? Wish me luck!! OH! And to YOU as well!!
Yes would love to see the best splatter effect and what works the best. I love scrapbook products but having problems with their shipping.
Oh no, really? What is the issue with the shipping? Is it taking too long? They are usually so fast so it might just be the national issues.
@@marypolancodesigns I got notified it's ready to ship and than the package waits. It sits for 4 to 5 days waiting to go further. I wrote an email to ask what happened and within an hour or so it gets moved to a different status and starts moving to it's destination. I believe it's scrapebook shipping delays but scrapebook blames the shipping service. It's happened twice and seems to move after bringing attention to it sitting by writing an email. I could be wrong and it doesn't happen everytime. I do love all their products and choices so I do keep buying from them.

Dr Ph Martin’s bleed proof white ink, actually stays white! I use it for brush lettering and calligraphy, but can also be used for splatter! TFS need to order some of these storage solutions!!

Hi Mary! As always, your video is very informative and full of amazing information and content. I have been looking at the 12x12 storage envelopes to store my 12x12 cardstock and paper in. I had purchased some envelopes off Amazon and they didn’t have great reviews but I needed something cuz my paper was getting dog eared. These look much more sturdy. I have also been looking at the storage board for my needs too!

For white splatters, would be interesting to see gouache and the Copic white.
I did the white splatter video and did show the gouache but didn't have the copic at the time. I hope it's useful. :)

What kind of paper do you use for print and cut(silhouette machine). I used color pencils blending for adding my color and the black toner ink bled.

I watched another video recently...Jennifer McGuire, maybe?...where the crafter said white pigment ink from an ink pad is ideal for white splatters.
I'm not sure about that, I think it would still depend on the ink from the ink pad.
