    Thank you so much you really help seniors to rebound safely as beginners. We love watching your videos! I am 76 and my husband 77. We believe finding a rebounder for exercise is one of the best forms of exercise besides walking that seniors can do. We keep our rebounder in our living room so it reminds us to keep moving. We also consume a whole foods plant based diet now going on 14 years. One of the worst thing seniors do, is they stop MOVING! Our muscles will break down and your health will decline. Thanks again. You are the best teacher of all the videos we checked out for senior exercise!

      Thank you SO much! You are 100% correct...must keep moving! I was approaching 40 when I started teaching rebounding after leaving public education and I feel as though I've truly found my calling. I love and feel SO passionate about helping others move at all ages and fitness abilities. Not sure if you've joined in any of my live classes, but there are quite a few in that 60-70 age range who tune in every week. If you get the chance, join us sometime. My "Sunday 60" is popular. Gentle rebounding for 30 minutes and stretching for 30 minutes. All live classes are 9:00am CST.

      I have the Tbar for mine too and I love it for safely dismounting from it (since Bellicons are a bit on the higher side for height).

    Such valuable information, thanks Nikki.
    I love bouncing barefoot, but finding my left foot has a pain running along the outside of the foot so wearing trainers now. Also have the lower back that aches (not everyday, but often enough), so will focus on proper form, the heel bounce and the weak core posture. Lots to pay attention to. 😬🫣😵‍💫🤪🤓😉

      Thanks so much for watching. Yes, it definitely is a lot to think about and honestly...I think about form pretty much the whole time I'm rebounding. It's good because it becomes a bit of a moving meditation for me. Lots of focus. :) Let me know if the low back aches resolve with the adjustments in your form!

    • @lanahrw
      @lanahrw Год назад

      I do find some stretching forms could be the culprit too for the back pain (?) Will continue with the bounce in proper form…and agree, being mindful and aware of the basics is therapeutic😉

      @@lanahrw Absolutely agree with that! Everyone who rebounds should also be stretching!

    Hi, I’ve recently started looking into the question of if I should buy and what. I’m a older women, 5´9 … and also have tall feet. Feeling I would be much happier/safer with the larger (44) rebounder. I’ve heard you suggest the 350 Pro as best… but larger is just as good, just bigger and more dollars, correct? At about your 4 minutes in, I was quite taken back with the noise, I’ll have mine on carpet. Would it be Quieter?

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  5 месяцев назад +1

      Greetings! Yes, I definitely recommend the 550Pro (44 inch) if you want a little more space. The noise you're hearing is not the rebounder. It's my tennis shoes hitting the mat. You can jump barefoot or in grippy style socks to avoid that if you wish. You can get the 550Pro directly from my website www.earthandowl.com

    Watching again, such good info. I got a little bit of a tweak in my lower back for the first time this week. I started rebounding 4-5 weeks ago. This is the first issue I've had and I'm wondering if I didn't get a little slack with my jumping and stopped holding my core in? I also did quite a bit of yard work and Spring cleaning this week, so not sure of the culprit. I will definitely focus on form going forward.

    • @EarthOwl

      Even though I've been rebounding for years, I always stop and check my form when I start a workout. Definitely a good idea to review every now and then! Thanks for watching!

    Hi, new to rebounding, started following your videos. Main issue so far is very sore calves very quickly… what am I doing wrong ??

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  10 месяцев назад

      This is very common! Usually a proper warm up and cool down stretch are the remedy. A little myofascial release on the calves is also helpful. I cover it all in this video: ruclips.net/video/ExYvZbG-HOo/видео.html

    Thank you, appreciated, Is it possible to have longer vid of side view so that we can check, As a person who NEVER was active ready..... the only sport I played 60-50 years ago was basketball, now caledl netball { I think] it was the stop when you got the ball.
    I use a walker as I can walk forever with it ......, without it , it seems my stomach muscles contract so breathing becomes a little more difficult. BUT I am finding that I love the bouncing and the rebounder, BUT I am concerned as I cant watch the FORM SIDE ON for long enough to get it right.
    I am staying with the first exercise as I cant do any of the jumping of high movement but I am getting more active, and I can get along with GRANDMA as I can work along with her...... BUT I do want to make sure I get my form correct. and NOBODY seems to have a vid with the form sideways long enough for me to get it through my thick skull. SORRY. I may never get past health bounce, and I would like it to be in the correct position. IS it possible to do a vid from a side view? Thanks heaps. Janna
