      Yessir, customer was disappointed when I told him one coil was damaged and we would have to wire them differently, at a higher ohm load. But when he showed up to pick it up……changed his way of thinking 🤣

    Somebody come and look at this 😩 come look at this damn 210 shooting saw dust out the box 😂😂😂. Trying to make Casper the Bass Ghost appear in the shop.. Man i hate to see only half the voice coils only work but aye you turned a negative into a positive and made it happen. That box support floor was dope that thing aint going no where. Another 1 for the books I know you backed up on files of completed builds but its all good we down to wait for the next Episode of 210 Master Fabricator. 👊

      😂😂😂😂😂 I had to do it bro!!! I actually do it every build, just showed it on this one. Yea, we gotta keep it pushing. Always got options, when you have dual coil subs 🙏🏽 Glad you liked the sub floor. Couldn’t let him leave with the shop with that ratchet strap. We did that part for free, just to help him out ✊🏽

    Nice build bro. Do you think sacrificing some air space for more port area in a box is a bad idea? but still being between the recommended minimum and maximum box volume for the subs. Trying to figure out for a box I’m wanting to attempt to build

    • @210Designs
      @210Designs  2 года назад +1

      Thank you sir 👌🏽 In my opinion…no you should be just fine. I’ve seen, heard and built enclosures this way. Generally you can put more power to subwoofers in undersized enclosures. Good luck on your build 🤝

      One more question bro if you don’t mind, do you know how I would go about calculating the size of the port on a horn enclosure?

    • @210Designs
      @210Designs  2 года назад +2

      @@TaylaFam Unfortunately, I can’t help with that one. Never built one of those 🤷🏽‍♂️ There’s a great boulder that does tho. He’s on here as well as IG.
      (MBEnclosures) very talented and ships his enclosure 👌🏽

    running half the voice coils will cut your power handling in half.

    • @210Designs
      @210Designs  2 года назад

      I’ve yet to have an issue with less power handling, on previous subs and installs. Got a friend that is using one coil on his DVC subs for years now. Running rated and more rms power to his subs….he has yet to blow them 👍🏽

      I appreciate you liking the builds bro. Unfortunately, I’d I have to design a truck build, I need access to the vehicle. Too many variables to consider.

    Really like your builds. Question how do you figure pricing for your work?

    • @210Designs
      @210Designs  3 года назад +3

      Thanks bro 👌🏽 Our build pricing is based on (3) things. Cost of materials, labor hours to complete the build and degree of difficulty. No two builds are the same, so we price accordingly.
      #1 Rule: Know your self worth homie, that’s most important!

    The only thing that bothers me in "glue and screw" boxes... is screws can clamp too tight and pushes glue out...staples with air set right pressure yields more even set...then screws after it dries just to be anal.. lol .. still great as always and always respect for bare boxes...so many builders build crap and hide it under carpet and silicone

    • @210Designs
      @210Designs  3 года назад +1

      I hear, to each his own bro. Been building using this technique since the beginning. Staples army my thing when building, unless it’s for picture frames or furniture. Thanks for watching ✌🏽
