I lived in Del Paso Heights for a few years. It’s definitely hood, but I survived. Haha. I remember the helicopters going like every weekend..sirens every night, and bars on every window. It’s weird though, I never really had any problems over there. The people in the neighborhoods try to look out for eachother.
My Grandpa was a guard at DVI 50's to 70's.He had some great stories to tell.I even grew up next to DVI . Oddly enough,my brother did time there before they sent him to Pelican Bay,where he did 9 years.

DVI was off the hook, you got a mix of level 1, 2, 3, and 4, and it's all lockdown, so everyone lets it get to them. A lot of fights, and occasional stabbings. When I transpacked to SATF State Prison, it was like a summer camp, but it was still depressing, and still confinement from the real world.
I've been to Dell Paso heights. It's a rough area. Was up to no good back then when I was there. I remember my friends that lived there wouldn't let me walk up to the atm at the bank by myself. Lol

Always shootings, fights, and guys beating there girls at the park. I ended up moving and saw mozzy blow up months later and was shocked because I used to talk to him and help fix his phone one day. Natomas is pretty bad too. I moved to lodi and it's much better over here. Just alot of tweekers
