    I hate lunges but admit that they are necessary. My left knee wants to give out when I do them, so I use the TRX straps at my gym to stabilize myself while I lunge.
    Thanks so much for the last exercise for rounded back. I'm definitely going to start doing that. I hope my dog cuddles me while I do it like your's did. We'll see.

    Hi Debra! Love all the exercises but at the moment can’t do any of them! I had rotator cuff surgery on May 30th and still struggling to get any exercise in! Tbh, I’m so discouraged with my weight (184lbs) at 55! And the scale is not budging at all since I’ve been so sedentary! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

      So sorry to hear!! But one thing you can do is 1) move… you can’t lift but can walk .. and 2) boost protein( and fiber) .. to both help heal, but also independent of exercise, higher protein levels do help boost muscle.

    Great video! I used to work legs regularly but life snuck up on me and now I'm flabby and cheesy where I, once, was toned and strong. Today's the day to get back into it. Also, I noticed during the bridge segment the stepper off to your left. Have you done a video on that piece of equipment? I see them on Amazon but don't know the best one that is budget friendly and will stand the test of time. If you haven't already, would you comment on that little jobber? Thanks!

      Hi! Go get it! I have not done anything with it. They wanted me to do a review. It would have been bad so I didn’t. Thanks for reminding me to remove that from my decor!! They don’t make sense to me!! I’d rather dance around… hop on my treadmill, do some impact..

    Thank you for sharing these exercises. How can I avoid getting hemorrhoids due to lifting?

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  2 месяца назад

      Lifting won’t necessarily cause them … unless you’re prone… but breathing properly!!! That air you might hold has to go somewhere and the additional pressure can cause propensity for prolapse too

    Can you explain why you are not pulling slow and controlled ? I was always told do that instead of a jerky movement.

    • @Flipping50TV
      @Flipping50TV  2 месяца назад

      You do start that way to lay a foundation. You’re not jerking btw.. you’re 100 under control. Power is lost rapidly with age.. and power in exercise helps you get back the fast Twitch/ quick reactions you need to 1) get up from chairs later 2) avoid falling because you can quickly right yourself. Train only slow.. stay slow. Power is also associated with greater energy expenditure and bone density. Don’t confuse momentum with power.

      You think? Did you know people learn different names to exercises depending on where they are in the world, their education, and their teacher. I’ve got a little experience.. it’s okay we call it something different as long as technique is safely executed.!! Go for it!

    Hi I’m 58 still have a period!!! Well it’s finally slowing only lasts a day or two and very little BUT STILL! They (Gyn) made me have a biopsy of my uterine wall last December because I have a few fibroids wanted to make sure it wasn’t cancer so got put under! Even though I told them mom had periods till mid 50s. Anyway I’m glad I found this channel I need to do all of this I see my muscles melting probably from losing so much weight from them stressing me out about cancer. FYI Biopsy came out all good 🙏🏼🩷

      Many of our students do! It's "normal" - each woman has her own path! You're likely still producing a good amount of estrogen so muscle and bone are still benefiting from it.
