Wow! Great to see Bermondsey as it was and the progress.I lived there with my grandparents in the early 60's and they couldn't wait to get out but compared to the previous housing it was heaven.I would move back to Amos Estate tomorrow if our neighbours were back there with us.

Cheeseatingjunlista My great grand parents grew up there they were not thieves. They were poor but descent people real cockneys. Kind hearted with a sense of humour despite the poverty.
