You are amazing! I can’t ever DNF a book. There have been a few a wish I could have, so when you so casually talked about your DNF I was literally sitting here thinking “ reader goals”
I'm getting a little better. I can count on 1 hand how many books I've DNF'd...progress. There are too many good books I want to read than to stick with something that isn't working for me. I like to think of it as sampling 😂
Great job, Martha! 👍🏻 5 books 🎉 I heard DNF, literally gasped 😳 just go to the last chapter, and see how it ends😂 technically, that’s finishing 🙃 Kiss the Girls! The movie …. Loved it!
Adding The Mountain King to my TBR - it sounds great! I also have a stack of Book of the Month picks that I am working on 😅 Eventually I will get to them all hahaha
Hey Martha, I wish I could do audio books, but my brain is going in so many directions that I need to actually sit down to be able to read. I have been making a list of fun books to read. I read a lot of reference books and I need get back into reading fun books. 📚
I love to listen when I'm driving to and from work or many times I'll play solitaire on my phone and listen if I'm at home and too tired and want to get a chapter or two in. I try to read for at least 20 minutes a day. I find I can only sit and read in the morning. If I save it for the evening, I get too tired to read. I can't do reference books, I will fall asleep before I'm on page 5 🤣 I wish I could because I love to learn. Thanks for stopping by Aubrey
Great wrap up Martha! 5 books is not too shabby at all.❤ I definitely will put The Raven Spell on my TBR. Not sure if you watched my wrap up, but I was able to read 7 last month.
Seven is amazing! I have only been able to do that once this year. I haven't watched your video yet but it's in my queue. I think Raven Spell is totally up your alley.
That one can go either way but I like those kind of time loop books. Have you read "Oona Out of Order"? That's a good one too and an ending that won't be divisive.
I read the pumpkin spice cafe for It to be a book that I didn’t want to put down I was about 100 pages in. I read the second one which was nice because it was some of the same characters but with their love story and another store. I am just about to start the Christmas tree farm. I also read the spell shop in October.

I am intrigued by Raven Spell! Adding to my wish list!
I hope you like it
Interested in The Mountain King! Thanks for sharing these reads!!
That was my favorite one so far this year

I've only DNF'd one other book this year. Last year was one....I'm getting better at it. Life is too short to read something I'm not into.

I feel your pain with those TBR stacks. 😅 The Mountain King is fantastic. I'd love to hear what you think after you read it.

Middle of the Night is already on my wish list. I like his books.
I think you will like that one. I think there are only about 3 I haven't read. I heard Final Girls is a great one but I haven't read it yet.

@ I’m excited to get to it (eventually 😅).
ok Love of My After Life would not be something I would gravitate towards at all but you make me want to check it out, adding to my wish list LOL

I was really looking forward to it too. Sometimes the timing is everything. I really appreciate the suggestion.
