I found windwaker, metroid prime, spiderman, and spongebob all for the gamecube at my goodwill. It ended up costing 12 dollars and I think I was the most excited I've ever been
@@theamazintaco06 at my goodwills, I find that around mid day is the best time, but they put stuff out at completely random times. I know that at some of the bigger goodwills, there are people who sit there asses down for hours, waiting for new merchandise to come out. The competition is ridiculous sometimes so really it just takes a bit of luck.
@@mattballin13 think I might stick to yard sales and ebay. Can only go specific times to places if my parents feel like they wanna drag my ass everywhere which is almost a 70% no, and I’m not old enough to drive, so it’s going to be difficult
@@theamazintaco06 Gotcha! You can definitely still get lucky at yard sales. Really depends on your location, but I know in my area, there are hundreds of yard sales so it definitely spreads out any possible competition. You'll either get those people who want waaaaayy too much or they'll be practically giving the stuff away 🤣
I have already started my eBay business and have made some pretty good sales before, but I am also a huge procrastinator. I have really been lagging it in putting my listings up lately. This channel is just the motivation and kick in the ass I needed. It's true what he says, selling on eBay is very time consuming.
Yes. Most of us would pick it up! List a little less than others and get it gone quick. Just find a box, bubble and go! You don't have to worry about it breaking, that's my only worry on large items.
Yo Ricky nicely done with whole week and thanks for sharing your video with me and advise as well thanks 🙏❤️be safe and stay games hunting & let’s keep retro gaming Alive 👍👍
Just a quick thanks and a little brag. Thanks to you I've been looking at games closer in flea markets. Found 2 copies of astal for sega saturn (never heard of it). Paid 5 a piece and sold them for 100 each!
honestly man, sometimes i dont understand whats going on on your mind... that t-rex was freaking awesome! 90 dollars in value, and you passed???? I-really-what? space? what? Whatever...
Another tip. Start taking a little loop, kinda like when you tie your shoes at the point where cable goes into controller. Make the loop then wrap around controller. This will save the flex joint from going bad
At that price the T-Rex was a no brainer. Even if you only charged $45-$50 for it and then added actual shipping you still would have made a nice profit. I have had Pawn Shop owners ask me the same thing a few times also. I usually tell them I collect and only flip when I find better copies or the occasional doubles. You always kill it Rick. I get out to the thrifts a few times a week and catch a good deal here and there. But you put the work in man. Love watching.
It would be dope to keep that intro angle for the $10 game collection videos, so we can see it in the background, and maybe the other angle for Retro Hunting videos!
I went to a yard sale the other day and when I was going through the VHS section found Model Behavior for $1. Would have passed it up if it wasn’t for your videos!
Cool videos very fun seeing the treasure you can get. Also all those games you bought from the pawn shop made me smile, I use work for Toys R Us years ago and to see those titles takes me back.
I wish I had your consistency and persistence. We’ve found a few good things here and there. I think our best score ever was probably silent hill on ps1. Bought it for $30 a year and a half ago and it’s worth over $200 now...who knew it would go up that much! Great video as always
I pass on big items all the time due to the issues with shipping. I have a hard time leaving some of it behind, but I only have so much space in my small home...
I prefer the original intro angle personally. And yes, I think you could have picked up that T-Rex. One, you can get some practice shipping a bigger item or two, you could sell it on FB marketplace if you were willing. Thanks for the video Rick:)
quick question when you sell games on ebay do you put up for auction or buy it now?? i have been reselling for the past year and i really struggle with buy it now and have to put items to auction just to make a sale. I am from the UK btw. :)
How about the new angle use for the 10 dollar game collection (because you can see it in the background) then retro hunting use the neon ps2 sign side?
EB Games has been selling there Wii u games for $1 each and I ending up getting Hyrule Warriors, Star Fox Zero, Bayonetta 2 among other titles for about $10 CAD.
I like old angle better. You edit these videos and see the angle more than we ever will but don’t fix what ain’t broke. Not against different angles but that angle isn’t it. Love the content. Keep up the good work!
When you passed on that T-Rex I could hear Laura Legend crying! I would have picked it up! I've ship bigger things! The trick is to find the box to ship it BEFORE listing it! that way you get the stress off before it even gets there!
Rick, you gotta keep your eye out for a couple of those Skylanders games! Skylanders Trap Team on PlayStation 4 sells for 60 dollars! The games on last-gen consoles (XBox ONE, PS4) sell really well! Keep your eyes peeled!
Minus your fees and shipping of course but this is how I built my collection up also years ago now I have game eye to keep track of the collection its huge and I love it knowing how I built it up just blows my mind
I never see Wii U. When I do it's Skylanders or Disney Infinity. Or they are at a pawn shop or retail and the price is double what pricecharting suggests. How are the prices so low for Wii U in the US but in Canada they are rare and expensive?
Damn, that T-Rex would’ve been a good sell 😔 But hey it’s understandable, seems like it’d be tricky to ship, especially the tail 😅. Majoras Mask is one of the best Zelda games 🔥
Metal Jesus rocks didn’t play with the 3D on 3ds either until they came out with the New 3ds and I didn’t realize the difference but over the summer I did some game flipping and picked up a new one. Huge difference, doesn’t hurt my eyes at all
Retro, when you collect and sell to collect then you are a "Flipping Collector!" Also, most cashiers and store managers will respect what you do when you are honest like that. I've built up a repertoire with them and now they'll point me out to stuff or will ask about what things could sell for.
I like the new camera angle, but is there a way you could angle the camera to get the whole $10 Game Challenge collection in one backdrop shot. I know it would be hard since it wraps around the corner, but just seems like a good idea for these.
I swear RUclipsrs have the best goodwills. It's at least $4 a game at all the goodwills here and best they offer is half off on a Color each week. But by that time all the games are long gone.
I got one of those trex toys in the box at ross for 30 and sold it for 150. The buyer paid ups to pack it for me so I didnt have to deal with it. Definitely buy em if you see them
My local thrift store chain never has movies, music, or video games vut they take them. I asked a working if they take them why aren't there any for sale. She said the store owner worked out a deal with a guy that comes by every week and picks them all up at $2 bucks a pop. Reselling has gotten so popular thift stores and second hand stores are pocked clean daily anymore.
The Anubis game is pronounced "Anubis the second." Data design is the LJN of the Wii. Scott the Woz talked about a majority of their games in his Shovelware series.
I would have grabbed that Trex so fast! Ship it ups its incredibly cheaper than USPS when it comes to bulk. probably could have shipped that for less than 20$ depending on where it goes
that Jurassic park t rex you could probably ship it in a large flat rate long box for board games. it wouldn't be the best fit and it would cost you right around 18$ to ship but if its selling for 100$ it might be worth it.
Would have bought that T-Rex immediately, if I knew it was worth that much. For shipping just get a bigger box and a roll of bubble wrap, any store that has moving supplies should sell both.
Can't believe you passed on the giant T-Rex, that thing was awesome!
Aayyyee collectors luck!
I would have gone home with that T rex. Can't find stuff that good around where I live.
All you have to do is take the tail off and it ships easy 🤦🏻
I would deal with hassles like that day in and day out!
Just sell locally on Facebook market place
Rick, a reseller is precisely what you are.
I would say more a reseller with a cause
Not exactly

Damn dude....That T-Rex would also be an amazing shelf piece
unless there is no shelf space hahaha

I also always pick up GameCube games when I see them! Even those common ones are great for extra cases :D
I can relate to the use of the 3ds feature....... it most certainly does hurt my brain too😊😂. Love your video. Great haul 👌

Nice Pawn Shop Haul some of those 3DS games I still need for the Collection Mario and Luigi Dream Team, Paper Jam Yoshis New Island, Majoras Mask 3D
I wouldn’t flip the Trex but it would definitely go in my collection.
Every time I watch this show I want to drink a surge.

I second this
Change is great but I'm with you, I love seeing the neon. Personally I'd stick with the other angle. Love the channel Rick.

9:40 that T rex is the same one you see at the flea market in one of your videos, I remember it was listed at $40 or so so $6 is a great deal
