I got into an online bidding war for a tmnt bag with a retogaming90s person and immediately thought of this channel. Thanks for reminding about the diamonds in the rough
Your channel is very underrated and you deserve so many more subscribers! I absolutely love the $10 game collection saga. This is the same method I have been using to build my retro game collection for the past 2 years. It is alot of work ,but is so rewarding.
That's awesome you where down in AR hunting, enjoy your content. Both of you guys are fun to watch as a game collector here, and I may be selling a ton of my collection soon to, so maybe i'll reach out to you guys in the near future
I remember spending many nights just beating my head on the wall trying to get through stages in Crash. Great game and mascot. Keep up the good work, and happy hunting!!!
My favorite crash bandicoot memory is playing the game with friends , trying to collect all the peaches on each level. Spending days with friends was worth it! Thanks crash! Those commercials with crash and the megaphone were epic too!! Bring him back! Great channel Retro, love watching each week!
For years i've been from time to time feeling nostalgic for retro things but the way entertainment industry has been going i get my entertainment from retro games and movies i'm glad channels like yours exists. I was never a crash bandicoot player i played a little of it that's all.
I remember playing it at a buddies house when his hot sister came out on the bathroom wearing a towel. This was middle school so seeing a girl in a towel was a really really big deal, lol
I played crash as a kid but my favorite memory is recent. I've recently met the woman im going to spend the rest of my life with. Nothing makes me more happy then seeing her play the Crash remake. Her favorite is Warped and she will constantly show me how fast she can do the levels in and 100% the game. I've watched her play the great wall level hundreds of times and can watch it hundreds of times more. Thank you for the great content rick, we watch you every night!
I used to play crash team racing with my mom and dad every weekend almost. They loved it so much, I remember one weekend they couldn’t find a baby sitter and we spent their anniversary playing crash team racing with them. But after we played that I ended up falling in love with the series and me and my cousin beat all of the ps1 and ps2 games. My little brother just got a free ps2 so I gave him all of my crash games so he could have the same great memories. He’s crazy about video games like me.
My first Crash memory is the commercial where Crash is yelling with the megaphone “Hey Plumber Boy, I’m coming for you!” Or something like that - the console wars were such fun times.
I’ll never forget opening present on Christmas when I got a PlayStation 1 with Crash and Spyro. My brother and I hooked up the PlayStation and started playing before we finished opening presents.
I remember playing crash bandicoot at this restaurant when I was younger I was around 6 years old and the restaurant was called sopranos it was an Italian place. The owners had a PS2 for there kids and we went there so often that they actually let me play it every time we went and I would take turns with the owners kids. I hope that their family is doing well
My favorite crash memory is the old mascot commercial with the grandma. I always quote "you can't stop grandma, you can't." And nobody ever knows what I'm talking about.
My first memory of Crash was on the Ps1 at my cousins house. It was the nest game he had and we played it for hours! So fun! Thanks for the awesome nostalgia Rick!!
My first memory playing crash bandicoot was with my older brother when we first got a PS1 for Christmas. We took turns playing for hours while drinking hot cocoa and eating fresh cookies. Good times. Then we gave away our collection to our family overseas. I just got the 1st and 2nd crash bandicoot CIB. Now I’m looking for the warped CIB in good shape. Love the channel. Always helps me clear my mind and brings back good memories!
My favorite memory of Crash Bandicoot was watching my daughter play it when she was in Kindergarten (5 years back) It was the first game she liked and would play for more than 5 minutes. Her smile was priceless
I was a Nintendo kid so I was busy playing Nintendo 64 when Crash Bandicoot came out. Thankfully my neighbor had a PlayStation! The first game I played was actually Crash Team Racing but as an adult it’s been fun to go back and catch up on the Crash series
Thanks for mentioning Offer Up at the end of your video. Hopped right on because i hadn't been on there in a few months....immediately found a sealed Sony voice recorder for $10 (just under $20 shipped) which is selling for $200 on eBay....not a bad 5 minutes of sourcing!
I was a Spyro kid, but my cousin had the crash games on ps1 and I loved playing them when we would visit. I loved seeing Sony's commercial where they got crash outside of Nintendo of America and calling out "plumber-boy!" Always love your weekly updates Rick, best wishes to you and your family. Keep it up brother!
This is dope!!! I favorite memory of this game is that my oldest son when he was 3 years old love this crash game and I had him on my lap and he played and played and beat it. So proud of him!
My first memory of Crash was playing Crash 2 with my cousins into the late hours of the night trying to get all of the boxes. I wish I could relive those days.
I was 3 years old and crash bandicoot OG on PS1 was my very first videogame experience. I wasn’t really able to get very far in the game back then, but I loved it anyway and I remember playing the first couple of levels over and over again. I never stopped gaming/collecting since then, and it’s now been 19 years 😍
My memory of Crash was my parents getting me a PlayStation along with Crash and my mom playing it more then I could. Though not much of a gamer. (As in this was the only game she’d ever play) It brought some much needed joy to my mom. So I didn’t mind sharing.
My first memory of crash was when I walked into a store and they had the first Crash game on the PlayStation kiosk. My brother and me took turns playing the whole time our family was there shopping.
Retro Rick I just discovered your channel with the $10 game collection journey. I’m hooked. I’m on episode 28 and have only been watching your vids for the past couple days. I’ve been inspired to start a game collection journey just like this. Thank you!
Our family dentist had a PlayStation in their kids waiting room. They had Disney’s Tarzan on one TV and Crash Bandicoot on the other one. Then when they called you back, had you all leaned in the chair, they had TVs installed in the ceiling and played Disney Movies for the kids and just handed you a cable remote when you got a little older. That’s how you make kids enjoy the dentist!!
Retro Rick, my favorite memory of Crash is that back in the early 2000’s me, my sister and little brother would play Crash Warped, mainly I would play it with them to distract them from our abusive dad. He would get drunk and start beating and screaming at my mom and then when he would get tired of my mom he would continue with me and my sister. After getting our beating I would take my sister and little bro to my room and pop Crash Warped into the old PSOne and try to calm the kids and it worked, now it’s a happy memory that we all share. Now that’s my favorite memory because Crash brought me and my sister and little bro together.
Thanksgiving with my cousins in Florida was my first memory of Crash. We played that and 2-Xtreme and Road Rash. We also traded baseball cards and jumped on the trampoline all day. The 90's were amazing as a kid.
My brother had a ps1 and I was not into gaming yet and our dad bought us crash CTR racing. We played that game together as a family until that disc was scratched to nothing. We had so much time invested in that game it was unreal. Then when they relaunched the game ( for ps4) we died and restarted the whole tradition of playing the game together. We are HUGE crash fans. Thanks so much for the opportunity :) cheers
My first Crash memory was at my friends house down the block. Growing up we always skated together and played outside. I had an N64 didn’t even know what a PlayStation was until I went over his house for the first time. The system and game blew my mind.
It's more a memory from my 10 Yr old, the first time he played crash was in the mini game in unchartered, he loved it, keep up the great work Rick we love your vids
I remember playing Crash warped at friends house up the street. It was the castle level specifically. The music and wacky enemies in that level were so much fun.
Rick ... DUDE! Eureka is one of the best series! If they're still there, grab 'em just to watch and flip the whole set. I had to import my collection from Germany.
My first memory of Crash was my neighbor told me to come over after school because he got a Playstation. I had no clue what the heck he was talking about, so i went over. He showed me the game, I was so confused because all I have ever seen where cartridges. Fell in love with Crash after that. I was blown away by the colors and graphics and the fact that you could play a game off of a CD!
Best Crash memory is getting my Playstation and playing the heck out of it on the demo disc that was included since it's all I could afford at the time. Great times!
My first memory of Crash is waiting for my turn since I was the youngest. Once my turn came I was able to beat a level my older cousins couldn't. It was awesome!
One of my favorite gaming experiences was Crash Team Racing! My best friends and I would stay up all night on Friday and Saturday’s playing that game. To answer a previous question you had on another video, CTR is the game nobody can beat me in! Love that game!!!!
the original Crash bandicoot was actually the first game I ever played. I remember playing it when I was about 5 with my parents on a ps1 we rented from blockbuster and they would always beat the hard parts for me. Good memories.
I remember playing the first crash game on PS1 and being so impressed with the graphics. I thought we had reached the max, games could never look better! Haha
I remember when the first crash came out. The graphics blew my mind and it was definitely a challenge. The music and sounds was amazing as well. I also loved the 2nd one as well.
My first memory of Crash was buying it for my brother for Christmas when we were younger. Our parents would always give us some money to buy each other a Christmas present, and Crash Bandicoot for our PlayStation 1 was his gift from me the year it came out.
Best Crash memory: getting Crash Bash as a surprise gift along with a PS1 from my dad when I was 8 years old, because I had gotten 3 teeth pulled that day....worth it!
Hello! I remember my first time playing Crash was on PS2 at my friend Jamey Johnson's house. I was like in 8th grade at this time. Never forget those memories. He's went on to the other side from a bad accident. Miss him.
I played Crash Bash at my friends house when the game was one week old. I fell in love with Cortex and his sound when he shot his little ray gun. "aaaaaiiiya!" my friend got mad that he had a weapon and the others didnt lol
My favorite memories of Crash Bandicoot were the countless hours my cousin and I spent on my PS1 playing through each of the games. Warped is my favorite crash game! My first Crash memory was Christmas morning seeing a brand new PlayStation and a few Crash games under the tree when I was 5
@ 7:43 I think the movie witness staring Harrison Ford has got to be a very common movie out in the wild for vhs. I've seen it everywhere. Great movie as well. 👍
I remember playing crash bandicoot for the first time on a playstation underground disc from pizza hut, I just bought the original crash for ps1 about a week ago, it's been awesome replaying it.
My first memory was reading about it in Diehard Game Fan magazine where couldn't say enough good things about it. As a fan of platformers, it got me pretty excited to play it.
My best memory or should I say not the best one was my cousin not letting me play, which sucked because I left home without getting the opportunity to play, lol
Christmas morning, putting the original crash into the console and watching it loading up for the first time ...😍😍😍 never been so amazed, the graphics, the music. Everything was just so next level ! I’ve recently been trying to rebuild my ps1 collection, if you could help with this competition I would be forever grateful. Much love !! Keep doing what your doing you’ve got me through lockdown ! Tom oxox
My favorite memory of crash bandicoot, is taking turns playing the first game with my dad. My dad likes crash so much, he got a tattoo of him on his leg. Lol
So i picked up this dvd at Goodwill, "The Sword and the Sorcerer" it has some crazy 80s box art on it, scanned it and it looked good with prices in the 20s, i sold it for 24.99. So keep a look out for that.
I remember playing the heck out of the first crash demo disk. Never did get the actual game until I started collecting. That poor demo disk got some huge play time
My dad actually worked at a pawn shop as the jeweler and he would bring us home random PlayStation games and crash and Spyro were 2 of them. I loved them so much. The game before those my sister and I played frogger and Abe’s odd world a ton!
Lisa frank stuff is really collectible! Binders, folders, bags, stationary and anything like that is worth a lot! :) like sometimes can be up to $200 solids!
My earliest memory of Crash was playing CB 3: Warped on the original PS1 and being amazed by being able to ride a tiger with Coco. I just got a PS4 (AT A NON EBAY PRICE) and I’m pumped to be able to play the N.Sane trilogy one day!
My first Memory of Crash was from when I used to work at a retail and the crash was always on the demo disc. I used to play it during lunch breaks all the time.
Crash and Spyro were my favorite video games ever as a kid! I didn’t have a Nintendo or any other game systems besides a PS1. I played these games so much with my sister and my dad! I had to ask my dad for help on many levels! 🤣
My favorite memory was of Crash Bandicoot 2. I was roughly six or seven when it came out, but I had a buddy come over and bring the game. We sat and played it for hours on end, not stopping until we reached the end. It's easily my favorite Crash game, along with Crash Bash (which we need a remake of, Activision!)
My favorite memory was taking turns playing crash Bandicoot late on the weekends at my grandparents house.. trying to see who could defeat more levels.. normally it was my cousin.. he is very competitive and a gamer by heart and by nature.. to be honest I enjoyed watching him play more because it was like watching a movie unfold before your eyes.. the colors popping.. the sounds crash would make throughout the game make my soul rattle to life.. I enjoyed the pure and simple life back then.. the joy of family and of playing video games with not a care in the world.. great memories
My first/best memory was my 1st time visiting one of my best friends after school. He showed me “A bugs life” for the ps1 and introduced me to crash team racing. It probably stuck to me since I was so use to Mario kart 64 and it was a different awesome quality racing game that wasn’t Mario. It’s still so clear to me even at age 25.
First memory of Crash Bandicoot is him (guy in crash costume) standing outside Nintendo America calling out Mario on a megaphone, classic commercial :D
My favorite crash memory is the crash mini game on Unchartered 4. I went on a family vacation for New Year weekend and spent the first night beating the game. I spent the next few days walking into the house, on the game, turning on the PS1 and playing crash non-stop. I still play Unchartered to this day just to play the crash mini game😂
Crash Bandicoot warped was my first crash game. I went to my dads every other weekend and I had gone over and he had picked up a new game for us to play. We opened it together and played it for the next few hours. We continued playing it the whole weekend. And the next few weekends when I’d come over. Such amazing memories.
I remember playing Crash Bandicoot Warped and being blown away! I loved the Nintendo, but went straight from that to the PlayStation. Night and day for sure! Love your channel! :)

Man I love Crash series, as a kid or an adult. Most fond memories definitely first time I heard Ripper Roo’s laugh lolllllll
Found a NCAA 2014 this morning at goodwill for 2.99 perfect condition
Never woulda known it’s value without you!
Favorite memory of crash was when I got my first PS One and getting the demo disc with Crash 2! Instantly, fell in love with the platforming series!
Love Crash! Favorite memory is playing it for first time with my son!
Crash Bandicoot warped was my first crash game. I went to my dads every other weekend and I had gone over and he had picked up a new game for us to play. We opened it together and played it for the next few hours. We continued playing it the whole weekend. And the next few weekends when I’d come over. Such amazing memories.
My first memory of the crash games was playing the ps1 games on my cousins ps2 at his house. Love these games!!
I remember playing Crash Bandicoot Warped and being blown away! I loved the Nintendo, but went straight from that to the PlayStation. Night and day for sure! Love your channel! :)
