- Ever since I first started playing bass I have played in many wedding bands. My first opportunities being in family-members weddings and eventually traveling with professional wedding bands, traveling around the country.
With playing with PRO wedding musicians, I learned how crucial these events are and how it isn't as easy as just playing songs and having a good time. Being a part of a professional wedding band you are carrying the weight of experience that people will go back to for a lifetime.
So today, we are going behind the scenes with a PRO wedding band I occasionally play with called the "The Nashville Wedding Band".

LOVE stuff like this. I've lived this in a slightly different way (open mic night sound engineer/singer to get people going) so it's really relatable.
As a professional photographer I will NOT shoot weddings. However as a beginner bass player my goal is to get good enough to play in a bad wedding band 🤓

All of you guys in the van said it’s a lot. I play in a pro wedding band and it’s pretty fun and simple. A fee required songs , charted out, the rest is basic. I play weddings all the time. Is that the difference?
