    Bill Hader about this sketch:
“We did this sketch where we were a punk wedding band. I was playing bass, and Dave Grohl was on drums-that was one of the biggest moments of “SNL” for me. If you had told me at 15, “You’ll play with Dave Grohl on ‘SNL,’” I’d be like, “You’re out of your mind.” At one point, Dave was like, “Hey, Bill, you sound good.” I almost threw up, I was so terrified. 4 notes in on the song and Kutcher is so amped up, he shoves his heel through an entire wine flight. It is just too perfect. Kicking Bobby and Kenan’s serving platters for no reason just kills me every time. What a mess but what a crazy off the wall sketch.

It’s even better that Dave is involved in this, who has major roots in punk rock. From drumming for the punk band scream, to drumming for a very obviously punk influenced band Nirvana, and then creating the foo fighters- which, depending on the project, you don’t hear the influence as much, but I’d argue it’s still there. I love that punk is involved in such a great rockers discography.
