Technique: SAW the shim with a tight, metal cutting blade. (hacksaw) -- but do so well AWAY from the final cutting line. Work slow. Any hacksaw blade MICRO-NIBBLES the plastic. This relieves the pressure of the VERY stiff plastic. Stage 2: use a sharpe knife to cut at the final line. Don't hesitate to use the hacksaw blade a second time to relieve the pressure into the twin interior corners. Since it's plastic, a metal hacksaw blade cuts it like butter. You only need the blade -- you don't even need to mount it in a hacksaw. Cute. A really tight (high tooth count) blade doesn't even need a razor knife to cut it. You're only looking to get rid of plastic -- not craft a thing of beauty.
Can you please tell me the name of this shim kit and where I can purchase one. On my car there is one degree negative, so the tires wearing on outer side of tire left rear side, pretty severe. The other one is positive .4 degrees. Can you help me. thank you .....Pete
Does shim not go between axle tube and trailing arm instead of where you put it between the hub bearing and trailing arm ? So it does not affect anything but camber.

Thanks i had good results with Ez shim
Great video for a DIY guy. 👏👏👏
Aren't they supposed to do the shims while they're doing the alignment?

I bought mine at O'Reilly Auto parts and NAPA.

No I actually followed the instructions.
Try heating the knife blade their cheap should zip right through
Have you had any issues with rear brake wear due to the bracket/rotor angle having changed?
Not that I know of. Have sold the vehicle. No noticeable brake dust or noise.
There shouldn't be any unusual wear as the shim changes the angle on everything.
I have a 2007 Sienna that pulls to right. Lots of wear on rear tires. Could your fix correct my vehicle?
an alignment shop should be able to tell you if your rear wheels out of alignment. doing this fixed my wear problem.
