- Crowds packed a historic stadium in Forest Hills for a music festival Saturday, but residents say the music is just too loud, and as CBS2's Kristie Keleshian reports, now they're taking legal action.
100 year old stadium
Who would buy a house there?
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
It was the site of the US Open, a tennis venue that became a concert venue. It should have never been allowed to begin with. It’s a residential neighborhood. An expensive one at that. It’s about time FH sue them.
@@sct4040So if it were an inexpensive neighborhood it would be ok?
A rich douche bag..... I grew up in the gardens, 90% of people who lived there including my parents were douchebags...
Touche
If you don’t like where you live you should simply move. That stadium has been there a hundred years way before any of the residents plus you knew it was a stadium when you moved Into your house
Exactly what I was thinking.
I’d rather the young people enjoy themselves and hear some noise besides gun shots. They can’t play after certain hours there’s a curfew.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
you bought a house next to a concert stadium lmaoo.. cant be mad.. if i bought a house near a dump i cant complain and sue about the smell lol ... sorry
Stadium was never meant for loud concerts dummy.
This is one of the smaller music venues we still have...Don't close it
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
Yes, but for Classical Symphony Orchestra not for Rock Concert
They choose to live near a stadium
It was a tennis stadium. They changed the useage. It is not designed for concerts. Would not stand zoning laws now a days.
But they never consented to having loud noises in their neighborhood.

This was Tennis ..Not Barclay Center ...
They Double Booted all the cars in the neighborhood that were parked and they charged over $100. People came out and said WTF?
Deal with it
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
It is loud tho. I can hear the stadium from a distance when I'm playing Pokemon Go.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
Shut it down.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
Just see if they can put the music levels at certain output. Work together not aginist each otjer. Those people need this after covid kept us in,lockdown.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
I’m sorry if you bought a house next to this, that’s your fault!!!!!
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
The stadium was built for passive events...the neighborhood is not zoned for these events.
Don’t live in the city
really lady? you cant eat??? this lady is cappin.
Waaaaaahhhhhhh
I lived about a block away on Dartmouth st. in my teens. You could hear it pretty well… But I was psyched!
It’s time to move out,I don’t see the owners of the homes winning very sad situation.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium......
Doesn't belong in a residential neighborhood. Go rent Shea stadium.
Have fun as long as it not 2am to 4am in the morning.
All concerts have to be wrapped up by 10pm; this is just NIMBY folks complaining
It’s always alright unless you have to deal with it
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
Maybe all these NIMBY rich residents of the Gardens can get together and pool their money and invent a time machine to go back to 1913 when the Gardens sold this plot of land to the Forest Hills Tennis Club. These concerts are summer only, and 30-something days of the entire year, happening mainly on weekends and beyond adhering to noise and time rules, should be left the hell alone. The precious Gardens wouldn't even have their bougie tennis club had it not been restored and brought back to life from a literal dump that was rotting into the ground.
Take it to Madison Sq Garden or Barkley Center where they belong.
@@sct4040 tell me you know nothing about this stadium or the stadium's capacity without telling me. This venue isn't even 1/4 the size of MSG, nor does it bring in mega performers. The residents weren't crying about the stadium when they hosted Tom Petty, Sheryl Crow, Ben Folds, Hall & Oates, or John Melloncamp, it was quite interestingly when Chance the Rapper was announced that these blatantly racist, entitled, and arrogant Gardens members started losing their fucking minds, clutching their pearls about the "hooligans" and all the "crime" it would bring. Because the stadium no longer caters to the 65 and up crowd, they want to end it all. Put the pieces together.
30-something days of the entire year is 30-something days too long. How about I blast music outside your window for a month and then tell you "It's only 1 month out of the year, brah! Like deal with it, brah!" would you like that? No? Then keep quiet.
I'll take that deal! Now I just need a time machine to go back to 1913. Not sure how big this stadium is but Fenway Park was built in 1912 I believe. Still doing fine. Old stadiums have a lot of character like Fenway, Wrigley, etc.
Lol they should move into richmond hill south ozone or jamaica if they want to complain about noise
you chose to live there. your fault.
I agree with the neighbors
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
they can move somewhere else
Imagine moving out of prime NYC real estate housing because of a venue that hosts 30 events over four months in the summer. These events wrap up by 10pm per stadium rules.
Lady, I'd love to have your problems. Your children can "study" the other 165 hours of the week.
Forrest Hills residents are so soft
They knew it was there.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
So many ignorant people
Please I'll gladly change housing with these "concerned citizens" if it's such a hassle to live near a 100 year old historic event venue
I understand what you are going through just Airbnb the house and move nyc don’t sleep we outside
These neighbors need to move.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
How old are you?
@@eliza5960 old enough to understand that there was a 100 year old stadium next o me. But under 100 years old.
I agree with the neighbors, demolish the stadium, make affordable housing.
Terror Alert NYC. Rockstar games and Kojima productions employees are poisoning people on the subway and at forest hills stadium........
These are the people that restrict parking so no outsiders can park anywhere near anything. Screw them.
envy is an awful sin
They need to get rid of tgat place. Its in a residential area.
Isn’t that loud noise coming from the wealthy concert goers who will be in the neighborhood for a few days much better than having a few thousand impoverished Latin American asylum seekers; and refugees who don’t have any money to buy things in that neighborhood?
Your comment is disgusting and racist.
Now that's putting things in perspective 👌
@Moa you should not bring up other ethnicities to this neighborhood debate “ impoverished Latin Americans” ? wtf this is border line racist… btw I live in FH about 3 blocks away from the stadium for almost 20 years and I’m Latin American.
@@carlosgranadillo6425 I was mentioning the asylum seekers who come from the Latin American countries not you; it appears that I’ve offended you by saying impoverished Latin American asylum seekers.
wtf is this garbage comment
How about you just don’t move right next to a stadium?
Stadium was never meant for loud concerts dummy.
They are going to far if they had a permit that allows the concert it go for them to get together agin
They are in violation of the zoning laws. G d forbid a tragedy strikes, their insurance won't cover because they are in violation of their CofO and zoning.
Omg that’s living hell and why would they reopen a stadium so close to houses like that
If they don’t like the noise they can always move somewhere else
Here we go again with another situation in New York these people better shut up and stop complaining about the noise you know why because they live in those houses there they actually the only ones in New York City if they owned those houses they pay Harley no taxes probably $100 a year because the stadium is right across the street from them so their house value for that day at the assessor will put that there's a stadium across the street and that's like a industrial building which means your taxes got to be low because of that building so they start complaining they going to charge them

Read you history, don't be ignorant
Imagine making a noise complent instead of moving somewhere else
I live near a stadium and yes there are negatives: Drunk revelers, people pissing and throwing up near your doorstep, garbage, noise and constant traffic. These are things you deal with living in the largest city in the country. I hope they can find some resolution.
there has not been a problem with that stadium i used to live there its that you have these foreigners come to our country and make it into china
