This is very similar to Enigma's 1990 song "Sadness." The rhythm track is virtually identical.

No cause of death was cited. A cause of death has not been revealed publicly. My guess, he was pretty old, and probably died of a heart attack... That's just my guess. We unfortunately don't know for sure.
