There was one lowes location in the charlotte-ish area that had an auntie anne's pretzel stand for a while which was strange to see but awesome at the same time. power tools and cinnamon pretzels are a surprisingly good combo. and yes, before we had ikea, we had lowes kitchens to explore.
Y’all should definitely go visit Charleston Sc, it’s a 3 hour drive from Charlotte but it’s so worth it. It was a British colonial port city before the revolutionary war, now it’s like a huge walking district full of historic architecture, parks, restaurants, and shops.
Many Americans fly the US flag from their front porch, by the front or garage doors, especially on holidays such as Memorial Day (last Monday in May), 4th of July, Labor Day, Veterans Day and of course daily. Since Memorial Day is coming soon, that’s why Lowe’s has them on display near the entrances.
It always makes sense to me to have flags in a home store because that's where you'd find the hardware to fly one outdoors. In Cincinnati we have a flag store, but for most people a Lowe's store is much nearer.
I noticed the presence of flags of the different branches of the US military among the Stars and Stripes . Many US veterans like to fly the banner of the branch they served under . US Marine Corps vets tend to fly their flag more than vets of the the other branches .
Exactly.
@c Thank You for Serving Brother, I went to Hollywood (San Diego) 36 years ago.......
I fly my flag all Year long 💪🇺🇲💪
You two are so funny. Low-ehs. The Christmas trees (a.k.a. Cypress trees). Getting your giggles on about every single little thing inside the Low-ehs. I love it.
not cyprus but arborvitaes
@@SDEexorect Arborvitaes are used as barriers along lot lines or inside a fence to create more privacy for your yard because they grow to about 15 feet tall over time. They create an area of a "secret garden" many times.
Lows not low-ess. Cac-tie not cactuses.
OMG! You should have gone to the Salvasheeeohn Ahhhhrmee, as well. You would have crapped your knickers.
About the seed packets: if they are labeled annuals, you have to plant them yearly. If they are labeled perennial, they’ll come up every year.
Often, the seed packets are annuals, and the bulbs are perennials. Not always the case, bust a good estimate.
If they don’t die over winter.
Yes, and sometimes the difference between "annual" and "perennial" is pretty blurry. In some warmer climates, a plant might come up every year; in colder areas, it dies during the winter. A lot of garden vegetables are annuals ... but many of them produce their own seeds, if you're diligent about saving some over.
root plants will not die entirely over winter. many a re bi-annuals and don't produce seeds the first year. if you leave some in the ground they will com back and finish their life cycle the following year. and they will self plant so if you are a gardener and want to be a bit lazy you plant root crops (carrots, radish, turnips, potatoes, parsnips rooted parsley etc) and let them over winter. of course they don't plant themselves in tidy little rows though. so another option is asparagus. it does not die. every spring it will produce new edible shoots. you need about ten asparagus plants per person you intend to feed. there are feral asparagus plots in England that have been alive for 300 years and are still producing lots of edible shoots. another good bet for a lazy gardener are blue black and raspberries plus other berries or even hazelnut trees. (erm; filberts for you UK type peoples.) you may find walnuts, black walnuts, pecans, chestnuts, hickory nuts, heart nuts or butternut trees none of which of course have to be planted yearly. plus lots of fruit trees. even strawberries usually last more than one year. in fact many sources say not to let them produce their first year.
@@Fishmorph true story. indeterminate tomato cultivars can survive 5 years in their native climate where they are not killed by frost..
USA Flags are on sale because Memorial Day is on Monday and July 4th is coming. People like to put their flags on display especially if they have family that served. Also gardening is no joke. What you are referring to is "annuals" and you absolutely have to replant every year. It's a thing.
I busted a gut when Lia saw the $10 energy guide and thought the appliance was $10. So funny
No, she thought the energy usage per year was $10. She's not barking. lol
@@keithmasumoto9698 They were acting (for the lol's) like they assumed the price of the appliance was $10. See how Joel points up and shows the actual price afterward. I think they were just joking around. 😉
You two really crack me up over the most ordinary things! I cracked up when Lia said "The vibes are lit. Could it be because I've had 3 mimosas?" I just love your British humor!
After I got divorced I worked at Lowe's. They wanted me to work a register but the manager of the outdoor lawn and garden needed help so I picked working in that section. I was the one who would be standing there watering the plants. I enjoyed working there. Customers would look for me so I could help them. And they were so mad when I was laid off.
That sounds so nice and relaxing... Idk why but I'd like to have a conversation with the person that's there tending to the plants and stuff. Just seems so nice.
bro threw a fun fact in there
Lia, there are two types of plants: perennials(which die down in the winter but come back in the spring) and annuals (which you have to plant every year if you want them.
What gardeners (at least in the northern states) do in the winter is dream, plan and buy seeds for the spring time. Usually too many seeds
Gardeners will also harvest tge seeds from what they do grow and plant them again in the spring instead of buy from the store.
Here in the States, we have several holidays that we typically put out our flags. Memorial Day (the 30th) is almost a bigger day for the flag than actual Flag Day and the 4th of July. We also have flag etiquette -- if a flag is torn, dirty, or faded should not be displayed. So that is the reason why you saw so many flags. On Memorial Day there will be parades, ceremonies, and cemeteries will be decked out with flags and white crosses for veterans.
i wonder if this kind of store in Denmark sells flags. I think that's the only country i've visited where more private houses had their national flag flying. It was nice to see.
@Phillip Banesyou must call our great nation 'Murca then. The actual name of my homeland is THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Therefore referring to the country as "the States," is considered an appropriate nickname. Far better than the unintelligent 'Murca.
@@bighatstephens Using "the States" is fine. It's just a quicker way to reference USA. I use it sometimes. There are three types of people who use Murica. The first self-loathing Americans. The second, non-Americans who probably don't know that when they use it their tone is usually of condescension as they say it with a stereotypical Southern accent. And the third are patriotic Americans who use it in a loving manner.
Omg this is so cool, I’m an Aussie who lived in that part of Charlotte for 3&1/2 years. That was my local Lowes, it is an addiction I was obsessed with going there and buying plants. After leaving Charlotte (having been in Chicago for 3&1/2 years before that) we moved to London and everything just seemed so much SMALLER 🤣! I had in lived in London in my early 20’s but maybe it wasn’t such a shock coming from Sydney? I feel like Australia has elements of US and UK!
Well Aussies are just Texas/Southern Brits. When you think about it.
@@Spabsa I read a lot of Aussie mysteries, and watch Aussie series when I can, and I agree with you. I kinda feel like they are Texan-ish.
@@bevtuft3572 well I just say that because they have a “rural” sounding British accent, and they are 1 of the few countries that has had a “cowboy” period. Plus they’re technically southern geographically speaking.
8:44 I've used this machine it's really cool. I even got a sky blue key that says "home" on it. You stick your key in the keyhole, just like a lock, choose your blank on the screen, pay, then you can watch it cut the key through the window. It spits the new key out and you're done.
They're so cool that I almost feel like making extra keys just for fun. :-) I've used them in Lowe's a couple of times, but it's been a few years. I did not know that they do key fobs until this video!
It’s really interesting, I think we Americans often take for granted how many options we have to buy things, but it really puts it into perspective when you guys comment on what you don’t have in the UK. Kinda makes me appreciate more what we do have access to, so thanks for that! Love you guys! ❤️❤️❤️
I’m an American who’s been living in the UK for a while. At B&Q or Wickes you can pretty much get everything a Lowe’s or HD would have.
My local B&Q is in the town centre so a bit small - there’s not that much variety, but all the staples are there. Head further out to the garden centres or the industrial estate Wickes we have and there are plenty of more options.
The UK also has shops like Screwfix or Toolstation which are small in footprint but have tons of random everything in stock. You go to the counter / order online and their staff goes and collects your order. I’d wager to say the average one has as much hardware as a big box store, but without customers browsing the aisles they’re able to be compressed into small buildings.
Yeah I can't lie they really exaggerate, we have literally everything in the uk too. Apart from flags, but don't know why you'd want them...
Lowes and Home Depot sell over-priced, low-grade junk to rubes who believe they are 'middle class'. The size of these places is impressive but they don't really have much selection at all. It's the same product with ten different brand names on it. Except for bulk commodity type building materials I'm now forced to buy most things I need online.
@@miah2165 Yeah, I guess if I lived in the UK, I wouldn't have enough national pride to want a flag either.
Yes, so many act like we have it so bad as they walk around in their 3,000 sq ft home… driving their status giant SUV and complaining about gas prices… insane
Lowe's is the same as Home Depot. Those are decorative Arborvitae shrubs, not Xmas trees, at (00:41), gardens (2:12), unless you have perennials, have to be replanted. Those are meat smokers (at 3:15), not regular barbeque grills.
Actually Home Depot is targeted more at contractors and people who do it for a living, while Lowe's is more for DIY home owners.
@@3DJapan Tractor Supply exists for people more oriented to home gardening .
@@3DJapan - True, HD is a bit more industrial (with lumber and building supplies) , but I frequent both stores in my area and they are about 80% identical.
That cracked me up Xmas trees 😆
@@3DJapan Will say that Lowe's tries to focus on contractors at Pro Services...but if they don't come in the store ^.^
LOL! Yeah, *US stores are a lot bigger* and offer a lot more choice. But it's partly because it's just the culture and because the US has so much land available for cheap compared to the UK. Things in the US are generally bigger all around than the UK. Bigger country, bigger vehicles, bigger buildings, bigger homes, bigger population, bigger trains, bigger roads, bigger portion sizes, and a little bit bigger tummies as a result. 😉
how about it's because our coporations and all their advertising has made us VERY materialistic. When you are in other countries it's not non stop BUY BUY BUY BUY GET.OUT.MORE
@@Retroearthling We're not sheep... just pay no attention to the advertising. I don't. No one has to give in to the, "take a drag..." or "have a snort..." pressure routine.
You two crack me up. You can entertain yourselves, and us, in the most mundane places. Lol
well they know their audience.
The American flags are for patriotic holidays. We are extremely patriotic here. We display our flag a lot. It used to be mostly kept to holidays, but after the terrorist attacks of September 11th, it really caught on year round, as a way of banding together through hard times, and to send a message to the world- specifically terrorists- "We are NOT going to take this lying down! Don't even think about it!"
Not everyone is "extremely patriotic here.". If you are, great, you do you. Don't paint everyone with the same broad brush.
Patriotism is literal indoctrination, IMO. It's how governments get their citizens to fight their dirty oil wars (for example), killing millions of innocent people along the way, without questioning why.
@@themoviedealers You act like that broad brush is a bad thing. I don't fly the flag simply because I live in an apartment and it wasn't the norm in my family house growing up. I mean it's true - Americans tend to be more patriotic than the rest of the world. I don't have an issue with this. In fact, I prefer it that way.
It’s more because of the American brainwashing. Also, the USA is talking about civil war. There is no unity. In 2001, yes. Not now
I only see them on holidays in my area.
Hello from Arizona. As a homeowner, I am going to Lowes at minimum once a week. My wife tells everyone who wants to give her gift cards, please make it Lowes. She does not like the ones for candle and lotions. Nope she wants Lowes.
I had to laugh. Joel had his hands on my exact grill as he said it was far too large and I did buy it at Lowe's. LOL It would quite large for most homes in the UK unless one lived in the country and had a nice covered area to use it even during cool or rainy weather.
I live in a suburb of Dallas, Texas where I can literally use that grill for 50 weeks per year. The right side of that grill is for charcoal. The left side uses propane, and with the addition of some batteries it's electronic start. There's a single gas burner on the far left for warming sauce or BBQ beans so that one doesn't need to run back and forth to the indoor kitchen as often. Many Texans have an area set up as an outdoor kitchen because we can enjoy our outdoor areas for so much of the year grilling or sitting around a fire pit. My current house doesn't have the covered outdoor kitchen with a built-in grill and a fridge, but I looked at many houses that did have such outdoor entertaining areas. Instead, I let my father buy me that huge dual fuel grill that can easily be wheeled from the garage to outside. The gas side is instantly ready if one wishes to grill for dinner after a day at work. The charcoal side is great for having a nice weekend with family and friends as it has two levels and can cook large amounts even two full racks of pork ribs or veggies above the meat. It's a Texas thing!
and chucking a dead body in and burning it is exactly the purpose of a grill. it's just an animal body instead of a human body.
I bought this grill for my husband’s birthday a couple of summers ago. We have 5 children, their other half’s and our grandkids. Everyone was having a debate on which was better. Some liked charcoal and some liked propane. So when I saw this grill at Lowes I bought it. So now everyone is is happy. 😂
I live in Wisconsin (up Nort we say- no h whereas you-all live down Sout---no h) and I use my gas grill 52 weeks a year. All depends on what I am in the mood for. Have a Weber charcoal grill also if i want that charred flavor but usually use wood chips with that for the smokiness. And yes I do that year-round too. I've smoked a Beef Brisket for the Super Bowl in deep snow for hours checking here and there as well. I eat ice cream (better yet frozen custard) outside in the wintry snow too. You just get used to the cold, I guess. Never let it stop you.
they don't realize brisket is cooked whole and how big a whole one really is.
@@jerryadams6799 So it's not "unnecessarily big". Fortunately, we don't have to "justify" our choice of grills to Joel or anyone else.
I think it’s awesome that you guys took a tour through Lowe’s while you’re here in the US.
Funny thing is, I work at Lowes As a matter of fact I work at that Lowe’s
I’m glad you guys had a wonderful time there
That is my FAVORITE store! I can spend hours in there thinking about all the things I want to do in my house.
🔥”You could burn a body in there.” Joel’s priorities.
This was my favorite of the “first times” 😂 had me dying from the beginning “water next to bleach” to the end “leaving still a brand ambassador for Low-es”. Loved this 🤣
You know you have true Legends when you can walk through a Low-es and talk and pretend it's your kitchen, something we all would do with our besties....we just love it.....and so entertaining.
Got in my “21 plus tax and tips” shirt today. Can’t wait to wear for my 50th birthday party!!!! Love you guys
I agree with Lia! I love my top loader washer!
Whenever you two make the trip back to the south you gotta find an outdoor craft show, thats where the real, super kitchy southern culture is.
As you know by now, the US is large. A lot of those seedlings have growing zones which pertain to which part of the country you live in.
As a kid both Lowe’s and Home Depot were two of my favorite stores to go to with my dad. LOL He’s a contractor and needs to go there pretty often for materials either for customers he’s working for or sometimes for jobs at home. I love the way it smells in hardware stores like that, it smells like my dad‘s shop and is a super familiar smell to me; my brother and I both grew up always going to the shop with my dad. ❇️☺️💜🌟❤️
I used to go into the more traditional small town hardware stores as well as some parts places with my dad as he was an a/c repairman and electrician. The smells also bring up memories for me. It felt so special to take part a bit in my dad's work.
Does your dad know about your career?
FYI when you shop for smart lock or keypad lock for your entry door, make sure a key can also be used, just in case.
The employee recognition boards are used as a substitute for decent wages.
The seeds are either annual (plant ever year) or perennial (plant once and they come up every year.
The store name is actually pronounced "Lows." "Lowe" is a German surname, which the Germans pronounce "LUR-vuh," and it is also their vocabulary word for "lion."
Like in low, with an S
Might I suggest watching the American sitcom "Home Improvement" from the 90s. You can learn a lot about power tools, well just don't try it at home as they say.
Lia's Property Couple channel and Joel's home Reno came with them to NC.
Top loaders are actually hard to find these days in the US.
Especially if all you want is the simple dials like they were in the old days.
The Wife and I finally found one and it holds a shitload of clothes or sheets and blankets.
You can wash three sets of king sheets without issue.
Really? I see them everywhere.
@@EricW800
Not with the old style dials you dont.
We just bought a new washer and dryer 3 or 4 months ago and it took forever to find a quality top loader without all the electronics.
We wanted one with a large capacity so that narrows down your choices right off the bat.
@@EricW800
Do you spend a lot of time in other people's houses or the appliance section in Best Buy?
@@TrulyUnfortunate Top loaders with dials are easy to find around here (I'm in the southern part of the US). I see them all the time and bought one not that long ago.
I bought a new washer/dryer set last fall, but did lots of looking around first. There were 3 or 4 different top loaders with the old school click click dials available at pretty much every place I looked. The washer I got is a digital large capacity top loader with soft close lid, has a main central dial to select load type and some very straightforward touch screen buttons for customized settings (the set are top rated energy star for electricity and water, I LOVE them!). Yes most are digital now, but there are tons of top loaders. More accurate statement would have been something like "large capacity non digital top loaders with basic manual dials are hard to find in the area I live in". With that said, I'm glad you finally found one you liked. Appliance shopping is an expensive stressful pain in the ass.
LOL Top Loader is a name of a band? King Harvest is the band that did Dancing in the Moonlight here in America.
I love the home improvement stores. My favorite section by far is the lighting section. All the fixtures and chandeliers are so sparkling, clean and bright!!
Some of those seeds you'd have to plant every spring, yes. Those are called "annuals", but there are also "perennials" which you just plant once, and they come back on their own.
Did you folks know about the massive fire (arson!) which completely destroyed a Home Depot in San Jose last month? Especially scary is the fact that the fire alarms AND fire sprinklers were BROKEN at that store! The fire was started at around 5:00 on a Saturday, when the store was full of people, so it really is a miracle that nobody was injured or killed!
The "christmas Trees" are for outdoor landscaping. Yes, we plant the seeds EVERY YEAR, and they die off in the winter.
No idea why this video exists lol but Lowes > Home Depot
Love you two! Subscribed!
🇬🇧 UK loves America 🇺🇸
Oh and I thoroughly enjoyed your videos, thank you!
You Guys had way to much Fun , I loved it. I truly enjoyed your visit. especially when you visited the washing machines vs the Stacker's
Some flowers are annuals you plant every year. Others are perennials that will grow back again in spring.
Hi guys, The front left entrance of every Lowes is for seasonal inventory.
"Look, there are rugs next to the plants." My local grocery store did a remodel and the aisle was shortened where the bread was kept. Unfortunately, they hadn't cut back on the inventory yet so the bread went around the corner into the next aisle. Usually they had a small section of peanut butter and jelly at the end of the bread aisle for a quick grab and go but this time it ended up around the corner with the peanut butter ending up right next to baby diapers.
Walmart's computer data system evaluations pioneered the odd placement of goods many years ago. They found people came into the store to buy x items together even though they seemed to be unrelated items. Fly swatters in the frozen aisle next to packages of ribs, say. Their data experts mine the data for these incongruencies to place these items together for bigger sales and ease for their customers. This is both a regional peculiarity as well as ethnic based.
1:31 America is multi-racial. American is a nationality, not a race.
I was looking for this comment. You can see all though they are funny they are very dumb and juvenile. How does that even make sense!
Exactly. I hope she just misspoke.
Lowes has certain set ups for holidays and so right now we'll have the flags near the entrance. We also decorate one of our veteran parking spots for Memorial Day as well. That one you can't park in for the day.
Just bought a home in NC. This store has been my go to for all my projects.
FYI they sell indoor gardens for the year round (especially good in apartments). These are like barrels with little cups on the sides that you can plant seeds and in the center is a place where you water and put fertilizer. One barrel is like several square feet of outside garden.
Euros don't understand that our flags is a decorating style, called Americana. You can put up flags because you are patriotic, or you can put them up because you love the style. I love the style. I love those Victorian houses with the flags and bunting all over the porch. It's looks so cute! I mean, what else can you use to decorate a porch?
Europeans don't understand a lot of things about the US while at the same time accuse Americans of being ignorant of the rest of the world. The irony.
You guys are too cute! Regarding the top loader, the $100 is the savings. If you notice the red price tag, it's $799.
Lowes and Home Depot are the two big ones followed by Ace.
I love how they say the full name, lol the W is silent but it’s adorable how they say it🤣🤣
My gosh!! I need to go to Lowe's! I love it so much!!
The flags are because of Memorial Day
They’re totally clueless lol
They filmed this a few months ago.
@@BeachBumsk8 Do you know when British Bank Holidays are ? Thought not
This video was very nostalgic me and my sister used to go to Lowes with my dad, forgot how magical it was especially the light section

Lowes is cool, great pick
Lowes employee here. Little late.
You might not be as happy as you'd think to work in the Outside Lawn & Garden department.
I never was assigned but I did help, and normally the flower watering is automated with sprinklers at night with a little help during the day, from a 3rd party team.
The actually responsibilities of the OSLG team were regarding cleaning (imaging trying to sweep dirt from your garden) and lifting hundred of heavy stuff, including large stone blocks, hundreds of bags of dirt, mulch, or also fertilizer.
Then you have to be fairly knowledgeable about plants. You'll get any question out there. I knew an employee that left for a different store, who taught me how certain plants drastically change color when introduced to certain toxins.
Not everyone is that good, especially newer employees, but long terms workers are amazing. But yes, it's a lot of memory and a lot of physical strength required to work there.
Actually, the same can be said for most departments, if I'm honest.
Edit: the Thank You board.
Generally, the one you can see is for the Front End department, which includes Cashiers, Loaders, and Customer Service employees.
I won't speak for other stores, but in mine, I am under the impression that most day to day recognition is done by managers in each department, through emails. There is also another board for general acknowledgement in the back of the store, near our break room. This one focuses more on safety and ethics acknowledgements.
"Brick, are you just pointing at things in the office and saying that you love them? 'I love lamp' Brick, do you really love the lamp or are you just saying that because you saw it? 'I love lamp'" lol
Love Joel. Love Lia. But absolutely love, love, love Joel and Lia together ❤
The part at the end where they recognize the employees for doing good work and make it seem like their a family...yeah that's so they can pretend they aren't paying crap and would drop an employee at the a moments notice...American business culture.
2:20 Yes, though some flowers have a bulb, which will survive the winter and grow again next year.
Exactly it's for dead bodies, dead cow bodies and dead pig bodies... :(
To answer your question about gardening where it freezes, you pretty much have to start from scratch every year.
I love the content and also you two make an awesome couple! The chemistry is so transparent. Keep up the good work!
Pretty pathetic that if you wave your countries flag in the U.K. is racists, that has to be the most dumbest and sad comment I have ever heard! Totally agree
🇺🇸 Facts / Truth 💯 🇺🇸 ♥️
That's what they teach kids now a days.
In my part of Texas, we have two growing seasons. Big Country Texas, only has 2 to 3 months of hard winter, 0c to -2.2c. We grow heat tolerate cops in spring/summer, and cooler crops in fall.
I'm addicted to Lowe's!
TWO THUMBS UP!!! 🤗❤️❤️❤️Jean
Gardening kind of makes sense when you understand your specific crops and environment. I’m in Florida for example, we can’t grow apples but Florida oranges are the best because they grow here. Have you ever have key lime pie? They grow in the Florida keys.
Many of this type stores offer classes. For example seasonal planting. Where they teach you about the type of plants for the season and climate. For my area tomato plants and melons. The real question is when will it be to late to plant. As you want your fruit and vegetables before it get cold again.
Depends on the vegetable. You want greens to experience frost on the leaves. But tomatoes are harvested before the frost.
DID you know:
The first Lowe's store, North Wilkesboro Hardware, opened in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina in 1921 by Lucius Smith Lowe.
the coincidence you chose NC to visit this store.....
Unusually Florida doesn’t ever get cold enough. No frozen ground. It means that everyone plants all year long. Just add or subtract acid or base and you’re fine. I’ve got plants from 10 years ago that still produce well despite being through hurricanes and cold snaps.
I agree about top loader washing machines. At 75, I don’t enjoy stooping to toss in my laundry and remove it. However, the front loaders use less water and I’m all in to help the environment. Btw, that was our Lowe’s when we lived in Charlotte. Enjoyed seeing it again.
I've used those key machines a lot in my life. Any time I'm moving and I need extra copies of keys because they only give you one or two. So handy!
We are a big country with many people living in it. Stores will be massive in comparison yo the UK where everything its extra small but well fit for the population.
😂 Another great video! ❤️😊
I just want you guys to know. As an American, I've never been to a Lowe's. You guys beat me to it.
I worked at lowes for a few months during university and had 2 Germans that had just moved to the US. They were in disbelief with the variety of items.
I'm glad you guys explored a Low-ehs - someday you should find and explore a still open say-ars (Sears)
You usually see the seasonal stuff bunched together in random spots in these stores. So the 'display' items they showcase will change from season to season, and why you see odd combinations next to each other.
Yes, many of us plant gardens every year. I plant beans ,carrots , peas , lettuce , spinach , tomatoes , cucumbers , plus many herbs. Mine are small gardens, 8x20 ft each. Seeds are about $1.50 per packet and we eat pretty much free all summer and most of fall.
you can preserve the veggies in various ways to extend that through winter. canning, dehydrating, freezing and lacto-bacillus fermentation and brine pickling. in pioneer times in cold root cellars many vegetables were hung or buried layered in wet sand in layers in trays.
Joel & Lia, so you can get to sleep tonight, plural of cactus is cacti.
It was great to see you 2 brit-EEZE in the LOW-ez store. : ))
I dont' get why Brits are always surprised by the US flags everywhere. Every time I watch anything British, there are Union Jacks everywhere.
We should have US flags every where.
In town/city centres, sure. Especially now around the jubilee. But the typical house here wouldn’t usually fly a Union Jack.
Really? That's just the media. 😅🤣 We don't really have flags everywhere here generally. There is more at the moment with the queen jubilee coming up but generally you won't see union jacks everywhere.
The washer, dryer combo are known in some places as piggy back or stackable washer dryer.
Love Lowe's. Remodeled our kitchen 4 years ago. They did our cabinets and counter tops. They do excellent work.
Cost Remodeled Kitchen? Just curious
well that depends. Since they actually hire local contracters
I love Lowes and Home Depot I love to just wander around looking for ideas for my home.
The flags are out because this weekend is a holiday here in the states! Memorial Day is the day American's spend honoring those who have died in the nation's wars. It's always on the last Monday of May.
I didn't work for Lowes but a main grocery store and we had lots of perks getting our name on the board. We got $100 cash prices and gift cards several times a month. It keeps workers motivated and happy to strive to do better.
6:03 The La's in Lowezz!
Low-ez.... haha, love it!
I loved watching you both have fun in our Lowes!
Signed,
Marsha in Charlotte :)
Loved the video! Lia - you guys should go to Michaels if you're looking for a DIY store. I love it! 🙂
I love going into Lowe’s around Halloween and Christmas, they have such cool stuff, though it’s really expensive. I just find it funny when people are all surprised and whatever with seeing my normal everyday things.
Great tour!! Those are outdoor waterproof etc. rugs for screened-in porches etc . That top loader washer is $799. There is a sign above it in red.
I have laughed my head off !!! You guys are so funny !!!
