- I visited Migori Town in Migori County and this is what I saw. It blew my mind. Migori County is a county in the former Nyanza Province of southwestern Kenya. It is located in Southwestern Kenya and borders Homa Bay County (North), Kisii County (North E), Narok (South East), Tanzania (West and South) and Lake Victoria to the West. The county also borders Uganda via Migingo Island in Lake Victoria. The county is headquartered by Migori town, which is also its largest town. The Kenya National Census of 2019 indicated that Migori County had a population of 1,116,436 compared to 917, 170 in 2009 Census. Migori County is located in the sugar belt wetlands of Western Kenya and is mostly at the heart of the African tropics. However, the county enjoys a pleasant climate because of high altitude which modifies the climate alongside the cool breeze from Lake Victoria.

This is where i come from, grew up in Migori, though been out for years. I was last there in 2019 to bury my brother...i didn't know Migori has changed that much since then. I'll soon be going there and i'll see for myself. Good documentary Jarunda, you did well.

Siaya is like a primary school in the village .Migori and Homabay have bypassed siaya 😢
Migori is growing economically it's time to invest Migori
Siaya has stagnated for long unlike Migori which is developing very fast.
They have elderly leaders.
Siaya investor decided to shift to Bondo, which is more develop.
In Siaya Orengo has really blundered. He has isolated Bondo Town in terms of development, yet Bondo is the commercial capital of Siaya. Doesn't make any sense.
You can't compare the two towns 😂😂
