This was done as a demo before Jon put the band together, and Tim Pierce played all the guitar parts. Noted studio musician, and played guitar for Rick Springfield back in the 80's. Check out his channel, he has a couple videos about this song/solo, as well as a plethora of other great videos.

Electric guitars in the mix of a song don't have that much of a sound of their own, it's the electronics doing the work. Put the same electronics on the body of a Gibson guitar, and record the same song, and the sounds are gonna be identical. Nobody can tell the difference in the sounds in a blind test lol And hell yeah, Epiphones are absolutely brilliant guitars.
