Hands down the best band of all time, the only sad thing is that I never got to see them in concert. I had one chance and I ended up having to work. If I could do it again I would go to the concert because I ended up quitting that job a few weeks later

Mmm no. Axl contrató tres guitarristas para reemplazar a Slash y consiguió un buen resultado, de hecho Dj Ashba es muy bueno. Pero JBJ no ha podido ni podrá reemplazar a Richie. Actualmente Jon tiene dos guitarristas que ni juntos pueden con la sombra que dejó Richie. Slash puede ser reemplazable puesto que su atractivo es únicamente la guitarra y en específico los solos, con Richie no pasa eso, no solo son sus solos en la guitarra, son sus arreglos en toda la canción, además que el es la segunda voz y compositor. En definitiva no se compara en el hueco que deja Richie con el que deja Slash, el de Richie es mucho mas notorio.
I didn’t realise they filmed all 3 nights! Gutting as I was front row at the first night (Friday) &. Would have been awesome to see myself & my friend! We freeze framed the life out of the main dvd!! Great memories

Jon stopped doing them in the late 80s/early 90s. They were simply too high for him. I think it was his doctor who told him to quit them or to write of singing in the future altogether. And Axl Rose, sure when he was 33 he sounded fine, nowadays he just sounds, well, weird.
You can tell how the energy changed when Hugh came in vs when Alec was there. Yeah, Hugh played better, but the head banging ended once Alec got canned. Still sounded good though.
