I can see a dramatic difference when applied over a black base! It makes me want to collect all six!!!! At first glance at the first set of swatches, I was like Naaahhhh! But over a Black base yes!!!
Over the black eye pencil, these really came to life! I also saw that the "Peach" shade was definitely a warmer shade of pink, but still pink not peach, by any means. Favorites were the mint and fuchsia ones for me.
the peach and the pink, and even the lilac and fuscia (to me) don’t look different enough from one another to be worth buying both. i feel like on the eyes they would have an extremely similar effect
The yellow is the only one that really interests me on its own, but the purple and green over the black base are stunning! I think without a base these would look kinda messy and unflattering on the lids...
I like them as a topper over a dark base the best. I think that’s how I would wear them mostly. And the peach looks pink to me as well and I just discovered your channel today and subscribe, I love how in depth and thorough and well spoken you are for a review. Thank you.
The fuschia does look more like a light lavender to me. The mint looks gorgeous, and I also like the Lilac. Those may be the only 2 I'm interested in picking up.
There’s no peach on my screen. I agree with everything you said. They look very vibrant over the black base and great idea to do that. I think the gold/yellow was the most consistent comparing the 2 swatches.
Thank you so much for this video. I've been interested in 'the little white lies' collection for a while now & still plan on buying 2 to 4 of the shades. I like these much more then the 'Mystery' versions bc your guaranteed the same result every time you use these, where as the 'Mystery' ones you are not guaranteed the same result from every dip into the product bc of the two-toned swirl in each tube. . The swirl looks cool in the packaging but isn't the best for achieving the same result w/every use or dip into the tube.
This looks like something I can create using my abh highlighter palettes. Thank you for the swatches! :) God Bless, Merry Christmas and Blessed New Year!🎄🌼
These are so pretty this is the only video I actually can see the shift in them.....stand-alone though the mint is gorgeous and so is that first gold 💜💛💖💙💚
It's definitely a very vague shift I think these would be maybe a pretty topper overshadow at best... I don't know it might be just one of them products you just have to play around with yourself 💜💛💖💙💚
I think the pinks and purples are too similar to have released all four. They should've done an orange one and a more true green. The "mint" green does look more teal/turquoise on my screen.
I have never once used a black base when doing my eyeshadow. I need to get on that next time I go out! Wow! I didn't care for a single one of those without the black base. With the black base they all look great. Could this make my Shimmer and Glows eyeshadows more impactful too?
I really like all these new Stila liquid eyeshadow but at $24 a pop, probably won’t be buying more than one. The first swatches on you bare arm, there’s not much difference between the peach and pink and the two purples look similar. On the black base, they look better. The mint looked more bluegreen on my screen.
I really dont care about the drama w the print add. But i know i will be going in to pick me up a few of these. Love the wash of color. Only thing i dont like w the magnificent glitter metals is that after you use them like a couple of times and then not use them for a while. Even though you close them tight and shake b4 use they dry up so quickly even though there is a shit ton of product inside. Which isnt cool bc these are not cheap. Anyone else experience this? How can i fix this?
Not again 🤦🏻♀️ nothing new ! We don’t care if it’s white in the bottle or whatever.. And as known and also not new, that these type of shades look ammmaaaaazing on really dark skin. And those colors or texture are already there in the market !

My thoughts exactly!!!
So happy u did that overt the black

I haven't even heard anyone else MENTION these! Wow, I'm not sure now whether I'm more intrigued by the Shade Mystere of these ones...
You are always so thorough in your videos, like swatching over different bases, and I strongly appreciate it!

That was my thought too.

Is anybody else having flashbacks to the gel pens all us 30 somethings had as teenagers? Lol
It must be difficult for cosmetic companies to come up with new ideas for eyeshadow but I think Stila has done it with this collection!
I can see this transforming a lot of dark matte shadows.
I know this isnt a newer video but wow I wasn't impressed with a clear base but the black base is gorgeous.
Love it thanks for searching for us!! Also The sound was great in this video FYI!!!
Swatching ***
Everything looks as you described (viewfinder vs eyes). Thanks.
Agreed!

Fuschia looks blue/ purple to me in the video 😊
It looks one can also use them as highlighter!
I can see a hint of purple in the fuchsia and mint does look green.
Please tell me which you prefer, these or the mystery ones? I think these? Xxx
Soooo much better on a black base. Thank you

I haven't tried it, but I'd be curious!

Britts Adventures I bought two of them at Tjmax for 8.99
Thanks awesome video 👍
Looks green pink purple pale blue pale pink light blue
The black base saved these eyeshadows. At first I thought they were a complete flop!
This looks similar to the color mystery line
On your arm I see mustard, pink, purple, silver, pink, purple. I think I know why they're called little white lies.
Wow that model thing is so screwed up
hard pass
first😋
