Finding Christ in the Bronze Laver of the Tabernacle of Moses

- The bronze laver in the Tabernacle of Moses was used by the priests to become ritually clean before serving in the Tabernacle. Here, Aaron and his sons were washed, clothed, and anointed at the laver, preparatory to them becoming priests. The laver was also the place where the priests ritually washed each time they served. These cleansing waters of the laver can teach us that it is only through the Savior that we can become spiritually clean.
This video is the third of 8 videos that will help followers of Christ better understand the importance of the Tabernacle and how it relates to the Savior. The video includes 3D models of the Tabernacle (the Mishkan) to help visually show this ancient sanctuary like never before, bringing you closer to Christ.

Hey. I love this channel and it's videos and I'm just a little curious if there are other channels out there like this and bible project. A lot of the Christian content I've come across has been a lot about the world today and other Christian churches and false teachings etc... And I'm not saying those are bad but I just want to see more videos that just focus on teaching more about Christ and who he was and the bible etc...

Although I saw the connection between the blood of the animal on the Priests right side of his body with his right ear, hand, and toe, I did not know about the sacrifice these women made on behalf of the Lord, for the inner Bronze Lavor. I think it was wonderful to hear the faithfulness and simple contribution these women had for the Sacred, Daily Rituals.
Another thing I learned in connection to the Brass Laver, was the Sacred washing and Anointing of the Priest. Several parts of this Ceremony reminded me of my own experience and through proxy work, I have made in the Holy Temple of the Lord, Jesus Christ, in these modern times.
I remember hearing about how I can learn more about the Temple symbolism inside today's Holy Temples, by learning more about it in the Old Testament Scriptures and the Pearl of Great Price.

GOD'S BLESSINGS TO ALL NATIONS AND PEOPLES
Gospel! The good news about Jesus Christ and salvation from judgment on our sins. Jesus dined with His disciples; Mark 14:22-25, the night before He went to the cross.
Jesus and His disciples were eating a Passover meal together at the Last Supper. After partaking of bread and wine (His body and His blood) , the Bible mentions the hymn Jesus sang with His disciples. “And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives” Mark 14:26. What were they singing on such an occasion? PRAISE! Psalms 113-118.
THE GOOD NEWS
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.."John 14.6
Blood coming from his body, NAKED, hanging on that cross like Roman torture weapon! What a Lord God and Savior! He had to. HE is God the Son. Only His sinless blood could pay our sins price.1 John 2:1-2. The Savior was born to die for our sins so we could live through Him.
God knew your faithful praise ministry before the world was made! Ephesians 1:1-14. Prayer goes out for you and those here. A Crown in Heaven awaits all who share the Gospel of Jesus Christ that saves a soul. ( see"JESUS SAVES") 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20; Philippians 4:1. The Apostle Paul said in Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek".
This praise resounds throughout the earth: "Jesus Christ is Lord and God. Only He saves". He testified: ''I and my Father are One" John 10:30
2 Samuel chapter 22:verse 50 "Therefore I will praise you, O Lord, out of the countries, and I will praise your name."
JESUS SAVES
God the Son (Jesus Christ) has given us the gospel to share with the world. Mark 16:15: "And He said unto them, Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."
How can we hear it? Scripture tells us. Romans 10:17 "Then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (We receive the "word" in many ways. The "Word" is Jesus Christ!); John 1:1-5. God the Holy Spirit teaches through the Word of God in the Bible.
The Birth of Jesus Christ
Isaiah 7: 14: "Therefore the LORD shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and call His name Immanuel." Hebrew: עִמָּנוּאֵל, "God with us" in human flesh but without sin. The Savior of the world was born to die for our sins! He did so 33 years later. His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6.
Isaiah 53:" 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." - IT IS FOUNDED UPON GOD'S LOVE FOR MAN AND WOMAN HE CREATED
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3: 23
" For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23
"1 Corinthians 15: 3 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:"
THE PAYMENT BY HIS BLOOD FOR ALL SINS EVER!
Romans 5:8 " But God demonstrates his love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, now justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him."
“For he (God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21.
" In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;." Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18-19.
Matthew 26: 28 "For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." (the life is in the blood. He had to pay with His life)
"And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Hebrews 9:22
BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED
Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast."
Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding of His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above.
WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH
Romans 10:
9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE
Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8.

The laver to wash with also had a small bath of water at the bottom. The priests used the top bath of water to wash their hands, and they used the bottom bath of water to wash their feet. They was to do this before entering into the holy place, the ground of which belonged to God, and this is why their feet had to be clean. The blood placed on their right ear, right thumb and right toe, means that these parts of their body are holy and now belongs to God to do His work. Amen.

Thank you for the video! What support do we have for the notion that the washing was symbolic and not a literal cleaning sort of washing?
According to later Jewish writings, the priest was to pour water over their hands and feet 3 times. While some dirt and blood will come off, that does not really remove grime like actually washing with soap. It does not mean that they possibly did also wash here to physically clean their hands, but the only mention in the Bible and later Jewish traditions is a ritual washing. In fact, the elaborate washing rituals at the time of Jesus comes primarily from these and other verses related to the laver. So again, some dirt might have been washed off in the process, but that was not the main purpose.
The metal speculum is what the mirrors/laver were made of.

This metal was used for the most high quality, scientific mirrors until the 19th century a.d. (1850's)
I think you need to produce a life size laver, that has a spectacular mirror finish, inside and out, place it at its proper location filled with water, and reassess
the experience, especially with the open sky, (of the Tabernacle) and the images created in it while washing the face.

why were just the priests allowed to use the laver. Why were the people allowed to use the altar and not the laver
because the priests were officiating in the holy place- the people were not, but stayed in the courtyard...
Time to become Catholic
Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, brought high morality into this world, thereby he changed this world, changed the matrix of human perception! He prepared this world for the coming of the COMFORT about which he prophesied, announced the coming of the spirit of truth, which will speak not of itself! What does it mean to speak not from oneself? Who in history brought something that he called a revelation from God, and in which book after the New Testament is there a mention of Jesus, peace be upon him?
This book is called the Quran and tells the story of Jesus peace be upon him in Surah "Maryam" and "The Family of Imran"
The soil that Jesus the world prepared for him was one of the main reasons that Islam spread so quickly! His words recorded in the Bible: "Hear, Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength" - this is what Muslims believe today and this is what Adam, Noah, Abraham, David, Solomon, Moses, peace be upon them all preached about, they all spoke about the One God, and did not say anything about the son of God! This God is described in the Quran! Take a look back and tell me who changed the course of history as the prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, changed it? Who called to bow to God all the prophets after Jesus, peace be upon him? Is there after Jesus peace be upon him, a person comparable in the call to the One and Only God with Muhammad peace be upon him?
If the Koran were not from God, then it would not tell about the Living, Existing God, the God of Abraham! Many signs of the day of judgment have already come true, the next one who will come will no longer be the Comforter, but the Antichrist. Read the revelations and accept what your Mind accepts, your mind is from God and He will ask in accordance with what He has given! No need to treat life like a lottery, look for the Truth! Having witnessed faith in the Trinity and faith in the son of God, you automatically testify that you do not believe in the One and Only God, the God about whom the Prophets brought news! "The Lord, our God, the Lord is one", One means One, not only One for all people, but also One in His Essence who has no Partners in the creation of everything that exists!
P.S. The Holy Spirit is a hypostasis of God and cannot carry prophetic functions and be sent by someone! If he can, then he is limited to a third person and does not fall under the definition of God in the Bible, as he is limited and does something against his will.
I know that color doesn't matter in Christ, but since it doesn't, I wish that there was more accuracy in the skin color of the hebrews. Details matter. If God chose people who lived in Egypt for generations and a man who lived in the desert for 40 years (darker skinned people) to show His Glory, why is that a replication that's constantly missed?
Maybe you should take care of that and say make a video or paint a painting 🌞
