I like to think that Shroder said what he said intentionally; he literally cant remember the actual name of his assistant XD. Fits the whole "more machine than man" scientist.
I'm amazed that Zap didn't commit enough fraticide to fail the mission. Pretty sure he dropped bombs at allies a few times, I just don't know if the game recognizes bombing allies as fraticide or only guns/missiles. Yes, you can fail the VID missions via too much friendly fire.
Labarthe was killed because the Osean AWACS, Argus was told wrong info by the Erusean radicals that didn't want the war to end. That false info was passed onto other Osean aircraft. That Osean F-16 at the end killed Labarthe thinking it was doing the right thing
