For me these three missions are the highlight of Ace Combat. Captain Torres' madness is just so fun to watch. Every single mission is the best at something. Unexpected Visitor is one the best air-to-air missions ever, Anchorhead raid was the best ground attack mission, Ten Million Relief Plan was the best boss fight.
53:20 The survivor of the pair fights differently for a few minutes depending on who you down first. If Rage survives he starts shooting a lot more missiles at you and is more aggressive, while if Scream survives she becomes very passive and doesn't shoot much. Once they begin hallucinating that their downed sibling is still with them though they revert to normal aggression that they had prior to one going down.
I thought that you meant mission 8 and sp mission 1 was a joke, until I looked at it twice! Spare Squadron attacked Artiglio from the West, now Trigger and Count do the same thing, but from the South!
I honestly felt bad about fighting Glamrock. Those guys deserved better. This mission really sold the terror and despair of the war. More of the human side of it
I will say, after playing Cold Waters, i can confirm that having a ASW patrol come after is terrifying. Even if you have a massive sub like the Alicorn.
The LACM missiles, i.e. the Taurus KEPD 350 (Saab JAS 39 E Gripen), MBDA SCALP EG (Dassault Rafale M) and Lockheed Martin AGM-158C LRASM (Super Hornet Block III) missiles, are best suited for destroying ground and water targets in SP 02 and SP 03.
Its a case where one has to separate gameplay from story. Like how in Stonehenge Offensive, Yellow 4 will always be the one that gets killed, even if the player downs the lead aircraft. Or how in AC5 all of the Grabacr pilots eject in Heartbreak One even if visually none of them do.
I hate this mission so much right now......I am trying to defeat the last part of this mission where the Alicorn is preparing one more attempt to fire its Rail Cannon and it is so insanely hard to get weapons fire through because the damn CIWS weapons keep shooting down any kind of missile I fire at the Alicorn and you are only given 2 minutes or something to destroy the cannon barrel. I have tried multiple times (I'm using the ADF-11F Raven and refuse to beat this mission with any other aircraft so please don't suggest it people) but omg I keep getting tore up by the weapons and having to restart.
By the time the third mission had been released I had stopped playing Ace Combat 7. Pre covid times these ‘dlc’ missions to waaaaay too long to be released.
