Really cool feature! Not sure if it's needed in my line of work (weddings & portraits) given the high price tag of the grip accessory ($999), but the technology is something to write home about and having the ability to have my preview images already ready for posing immediately to my blog, or our videos sent to our editor by the morning without manual work is intriguing for sure! I may end up trying out the workflow eventually!
“Much anticipation” I'd much rather have some substantial improvements for the autofocus and subject recognition. Shots are out of focus despite showing the green box, and the X-H2 doesn't really track anything. If something like a tracked bird moves just one bit, the green box is gone or still on the branch that the bird used to sit on.
@@AlexanderBischof dude, no. People say that under every video about AF issues, and no matter what you do, AF-C will miss a lot of shots and tracking something like a bird I'm a forest or against any other challenging background is absolutely impossible in 9/10 cases. The AF and tracking performance is nowhere near canon and Sony, after Fuji's promises and staged videos they owe us significant improvements.
@@cy9nvs perhaps with your X-H2. With X-H2S you sometimes exceeds the Sony hit rate. For best AF you need xh2s. Perhaps you are only searching for the negative videos
@@AlexanderBischof no you don't, ever. I've watched hours and hours of comparisons before buying, Sony just doesn't ever miss. And while in theory the s could have better AF due to the stacked sensor, I'm direct comparison the two are exactly the same.
Dear Fujifilm, please change the color of the square dots during firmware update to red and gray instead of the current dark gray and gray. It's very difficult to see the progress of the update now. You already have red in the dialogue area. If the square is flashing, use red to gray. If the step is finished, use red. At the end all squares should be red.
Well let me get this straight … it depends on transfer speed ok, so if you work in a studio, might be a kind of back up(I don’t really see why coz you still have 2 physical cards in and you work on tethering on your personal laptop) but if you are in the wild? Connect once you join back the civilization and start to transfer ..what? A raw file ? It’s gonna take ages , as long isn’t only one… maybe is just for jpeg to have a secure way to recover a backup. This is a little too much. I don’t want even taking in consideration transfer a video … lol … for a jpeg copy would have been enough the app.

I wish I could put a grip on my X-T5.
Great! Absolutely love this, especially for quick turn around work like commercials or political.
It's a game changer

Not true. Perhaps you are using wrong settings

Fuji, just give us a new x100v with wifi6 and webdav. Would be great to send pictures to our own nextcloud instance on the go.
This beat is inspired by “Be Here” by Raphael Sadiq for you youngins
