Schwellenbach was on point, pitched an incredible game, giving up 1 home run, and you could see he wasn’t happy about that but kept on getting it done.

Good evening Jake and Grant: What a game !! It was exciting and fun to watch . Schwellenbach was tremendous to go 7 innings and Jimenez and Iggy were awesome! Harris is on fire and getting on base , hitting HR plus playing incredible defense. Offense is showing life and getting hits to score. We have waited all season for this. And it is worth it. Need to follow up Wednesday e we it’s another sin. My g c concern is weather related. Hopefully, we can get the game in.

In a way I think there's maybe some benefit in confirming Riley is out for the season. Trying to bring him back in the middle of the post season of we got there probably wouldn't be a great idea, and it lets Urshela focus on just playing his best. I'm sure he would tell you he wasn't worried about Riley coming back but I'm sure in the back of his mind it was something he was aware of that he was fighting for someone else's postseason opportunity, and that no matter how good he played fans were eagerly waiting for him to be replaced. Now he knows for sure that's his job for however many games we have left in the season and he can just focus on doing it to the best of his ability.
Yeah but thunderstorms tend to pop up ahead of hurricanes. Calling for heavy thunderstorms tonight. MLB really needs to push the start time up for today''s game.

Well OK, I guess they would go Sat and Sunday vs the Royals but then we will have to throw people like Morton and/or Holmes with the season on the line against the Mets on Monday, then travel overnight to wherever the WC game is (probably Milwaukee or San Diego, that's going to suck) and go into it with not just one but 2 starters burned up. They really need to at least get tonight's game in. Surprised MLB hasn't bumped up the start time earlier.
Have the diamondbacks had a postponed game during the year?? As usually that half game Is no longer around this year?? Is it possible the Diamondbacks have a Monday potential make up game??
