Made you wanna shed a tear after the Braves won Game 2. I was moved to my emotions. Truly had to reflect on this whole season after that win. When you are with a team like the one we had this year, days like this are what it’s all about. Padres, here we come! Began the year “World Series or Bust” after that 2023 letdown. No long after the start of the season, it seemed like everything began to fall apart. One major injury after another, with losses piling up to even teams with worse records. Just to fall in place for what we saw in the final Game 2 doubleheader of Game 162. Braves Country prevailed. #DigDeepATL
Anyone who wants to come in here and say these guys didn't earn this didn't watch the season. injuries, weather bs, cold streaks, more weather bs, more injuries. They fought like hell and almost won 90 friggin ball games.
And media still disrespecting the braves I really want to see the braves shock the world in this years postseason pitching is really good and offense can get going I swear snitker u better not have Murphy and arcia in that lineup
Jake , sorry Imissed the live postcast with you and Grant! Two spectacular games . One game heartbreak ; the other jubilation. After losing game one , I confess my emotions were nearly destroyed. But Braves came back in game two and secured a a win. Braves were not to be denied. Our hopes were dashed when we learned Sale would not pitch . But Holmes did a super job and the rest of relievers put together a great performance !! Wow!!
Please let us know when you plan B to do your autopsy of the season : what went wrong and what went right . Will be a fascinating episode! I congratulate you for an outstanding season. St no one point y to issue there were over 400 people actively participating in your live podcast following game 2. A credit to you and your hard work . Thank you! You are the best !!
Some of the “fans” in the comment sections are terrible. We’ve gotten spoiled winning the division every year and I think even winning in 21 with the injuries then we think it’s a given every year or something. This team lost a key player every week it felt like for long periods of times including our ACE and MVP. Somehow that team got in by any means necessary and the “fans” are still dogging them, that’s tragic I can recall the early 2010s where it was nice for this team to even sniff a WC game
Ozzie was huge fior the Braves! I'm proud of this team despite all the drama and injuries this Team put up a fight. How ever against the Padres I see us winning one game.
If anything... I feel confident going into next season with strider, sale, Lopez, shwellenback and homes going into next season. Pretty sure max is gone and charlie will retire although his post game interview sounded like he wanted 1 more season...? Your thoughts?
I totally agree. Great pitching returning, our injured players returning; this team will be stacked again. I would love for Fried to return but realistically know he may be out. But we’ll see. Even this squad can buy back into “World Series or Bust”, as Mark Bowman reiterated on Twitter X. With their limitations. The future is truly so bright for this franchise even this season of setbacks and every possible chance to fail resulted in going to the postseason. #DigDeepATL
I don't see AA giving Charlie another 20 million but I would love to see him re-sign for something like 1 year, a couple million. You have to figure someone will get hurt at some point and Charlie would be a nice innings eater to have around when (not if) that happens and could be a nice piece in the pen when not needed at starter.
The Braves need to be loose and enjoy the moment. Braves Fans have Zero expectations for this post season. They have already won the off season when the injured guys return in 5 months.i think SD might be thinking ahead to LA and are ripe for an upset. The RISP can’t get any worse.Maybe they can get a couple clutch hits and head North for the weekend.
Pretty much. I mean we really didn't earn this. The Mets rolled over and we're not even remotely trying to win that game. Now Chris Sale is out for the WC series. Hate to say it, but Padres fixing to dispose of us quickly as it's hard to see us winning tomorrow with what we are throwing out there vs their Ace, on the road. Looking forward to 2025 and getting all our damn guys back healthy!!!
I am a bleed blue and orange METS fan who despises and loathes the Braves, but I mean it when I tell you, that I am so sorry to hear that you would not have Sale available for the WC. What a shame😢. Wishing or enjoying a key injury on your arch nemesis squad is one of the delineation points that I refuse to cross.
@@miguel.ledesmaledesma1790 your blue & orange Mets never even qualified to me as an arch nemesis. But I could see why you view the Braves thru that lense
@@1RobertSmith Don’t feel so special either guy. We feel the same towards the Phillies and the Yankees. At least the Yankees win championships and celebrate such, you guys celebrate division titles and treat them as championships. Which to the NYC sports fan, this of course is pathetic and border line blasphemy to say the very least. Didn’t want you to misconstrue my words,so I was obliged to expound. Both our franchises have two meager championships. Meaning REAL championships, not counting division titles. Even Phillies fans don’t treat division titles as championships. I grew up amongst Yankees fans. The most obnoxiously arrogant sports fans in this country. Bar none. But they brag about championships. NOT DIVISION TITLES. Now do you understand our disdain? Second to breathing. So stop it with the hubris and fake disdain Braves fans have not earned and only feign and delude yourselves to have done so.
Its an infuriating team that plays terrible fundamental baseball. Injuries aside, they barely got in the playoffs. Which is a testament to both the amount of depth and talent on the team, but also an indicator of how poorly coached and managed they are. Without Sale and Lopez this is a .500 ball club.

With all the injuries I can't be too upset about the way we got in

That would be crazy imagine we both meet again in the NLCS that series would be really good imo

Charlie needs to retire. He is inconsistent.

They were great but their seasons are likely over. Doubt we see them again this year.
