- chipmunk aka john moralee jeremy goodchild and swales forrest ( "The Queen of the fairground") on the set of the chaz n dave xmas show in the 1980's. invited as "extras" were delighted to find behind the tv built bar a great mate of jeremys from brighton who provided them with copius amounts of free beer throughout the whole show. For Tv it must have been a first , Real booze on the set! Chaz n Daves family and friends all got stuck in and a wonderfull party ensued. The director let it flow literaly and a wonderfull london style party just happened. It was the no 1 christmas night show and had millions of viewers. guests included
jim davidson, eric clapton!! peters and lee and loads of others. a great night with chaz diping into his bottle of brandy every now and then hidden under the piano. bloody great.!! Развлечения
Albert Lee! Still rockin at 80! Saw him at the Falcon in Marlboro NY, May 2024.
His voice is still strong, and his piano skills are also amazing. So glad I saw him.
Nice guy too!
Pure boogie rock from Clapton! I wish the man would do a whole album of fun rockin little tunes like this.
Yeah Slowhand missed a chance to do a good timey Chas Dave Albert Lee pub rock album but instead went full tilt into Phil Collins glossy pop...get back to the music hall Eric!
Five of the best musicians you could cram onto one stage.
Absolutey
Can't get better than this, the sound is amazing from Mick, Dave, Chas, Albert and Eric
eric clapton. the greatest guitar player of all time. no one out there better than him.
I am both a player .a huge Clapton fan and also a huge fan of Albert lee . Albert would cut most players in half . He is in another league . Check out his version of cocaine .
You are entitled to your opinion ...I am entitled to disagree
😂😂😂 plenty of his peers are you crazy I am name 10
Duane Allman
You are not a guitar player
Brilliant TV..... real happiness and dynamism, right there in front of the camera. Programme makers in 2021... take note!!
I wanna see that fucking good drummer! He had that smashing awesome drive to that song!
One of Britain's greatest ever guitar players... plus Eric Clapton is there too.
Wow great spirits n marry christmas young man 💎
true, Albert Lee is there...
@@micgenova9527 i don't think eric liked the licks albert thru in. you usually get a look or nod of approval.
@@timacosby Clapton as a bit of a miserable git, and at the time was either using heroin or just coming out of it. He was never known for his joviality!
@@timacosby clapton is playing the licks you’re hearing
Chas n Dave with a guitar legend ....oh and Clapton ... Rock on Albert ...so good they named a Hall after him
😂
Great song Thanks and WOW Linda!!!!!
Absolutely love this song! Money & Cigarettes was a fantastic album!
Love it! I wish I could transport myself back into time and into this awesome show.
I’m floored!! Pure class. THAT’S how a band should sound!
This is the most ever fantastic party....
What a crackin' rhythm section...
alberet lee with his telecaster... he is kinda part of the top 5 guitar players..
eric playing with his Master.!!!.. albert !!!!! God bless you!!!!
Fancy having Albert as your rhythm guitarist.
Big Brian
Albert will never be anyone’s rhythm guitarist

One Great Song
Einer meiner absoluten Lieblingshits
Yeah..Eric was and is still very good...💃🎸❤️❤️❤️
splendid pub atmosphere
Money and Cigarettes! One of EC’s best albums
Absolutely....although not according to Phil Collins....
Fantastic!! Foarte bun chitarist și solist vocal.❤❤
I love every song he sings! ❤❤❤
Very stylish guitarist with good song. His guitar weeps in tears in heaven, sings in "wonderful to night . Some folks wrote JH jammed him without knowing what is guitar . This man is unparalleled in his style with voice of blues. He is the only guiraist who palyed with everybody from Lennon to Knofler, BB, Freddi kings , winwood, paul, Harrison, Gray and so on, on. Highly accomodative as he is great individual and great team player. Long live Clapton .
Fabulous.
Love it, Eric playing & people having a great time, Nothing better.Hope you like it my new friend Linda
I'd be standing there rooted to the spot...........and boy do I live to dance
All that class on stage and I'm drawn to the drumming of Mr B
He's just perfect
Terry davidson so glad you liked dad's drumming

From Japan

it's 1 o'clock in the morning in Italy..but this song makes me jump around...C'MON SLOW DOWN LINDA!! SLOW DOWN!!!
i love this song, and i love ERIC CLAPTON.
This whole album and tour was phenomenal....
thank you,thank you very much
Eric and JJ Cale were very good friends. After JJ passed away Eric did a memorial video for him. I think he also did a album called Road to Escondido for JJ's memory.
super hit
How fun!!
Dance Linda, oh yeah !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jiveee stuff!
Geniuses
Super
now there's an interesting combination.
Albert Lee !!!
This is so groovy😎
I wanna dance my ass off now!Why did Clapton sing this song no more Live in his Concerts? He must do it!!!
Absolutely superb
Wow.
Wow! Eric and Albert and the Muppets!
I want to be in that pub!
ЕС отличный вокал,всем хорош.
♡
the versitile Albert Lee !
I remember the song but not the video! Thanks for posting!
I'm not plannin' on slowing down anytime soon. 😂
Love Clapton here...his last great studio album and tour....Money and Cigarettes....with Albert Lee.....I despised his commercial sellout at the hands of top 40 schlockmeister Phil Collins....the 80's haircuts...the suits dressed up like a half assed Robert Palmer...that hideous cheesy 80's synth sound....loved him from 1970 -83 the most....From the Cradle was a welcome relief....throwback...
Journeyman was a return to form.
Slow Down Linda
In these dark times why don't we make jolly knees up telly like this anymore?
kick ass, never heard this, thanx so much for posting
Eric Clapton would have been a pretty good country artist. You never know.
They were so young, that was difficult to know to Albert Lee, without his white hair of today
@kc768 it was..check it out Backless , Slowhand an Just One night..albums he tried to play like Don Williams and JJ Cale
Those are fantastic albums....Clapton was influenced by those guys....and boosted their careers and exposure to many who never knew about them...Clapton's best period....the contrasting styles of E.C.and Albert Lee...between.....79 -83.....awesome...
lmao
ta bien vergas :)
Waitwaitwait... Eric Clapton and Albert Lee together on the same stage, and no guitar solos?! Why would they do this to us?
Albert Lee was rhythm guitarist for Clapton in the 70's
Al
Bert
Chas
Dave
Eric
Irene is a Greek word meaning peace, he couldn't see her but in his dreams.
Great music by Chas and Dave but who are those two hick guitarists on stage with them?
(Only joking folks).
Det här är vår musik skål
I C why Eric and JJ Cale ended being good mates 😊
Who's is that strat erics playing
is that chuck norris or eric clapton
Chuck Norris makes the guitar cry by just looking at it😂
Slow down Linda,lay down Sally....which will it be Eric?😂Then there's Layla🤔
Can I add Tulsa Time into the mix🎸🎸👍
@@FenderTele NO, Tulsa is not a female name
@@linwoodkent1246 Tulsa Oklahoma
@@FenderTele Yes, I'm aware of Tulsa Ok. But the subject is about Eric's songs with Female names. So Tulsa Time. just dosen't fit in the subject matter at hand; notwithstanding Tulsa Time is a good song.
I didn't even know Chuck Norris could play
rock-n-roll or rockabilly?
Man the bass man is cutting his gig!
everyone is all liqored up & no place to go & took all those big hairy bushed ladies back home lol.
Yep durty scumbag. Have some manners.
album version + 1.25 😂
They cut out the guitar solo from the orininal version....that's blasfemy when it's a Clapton song.....;-(
i bet eric loved playing with the legends C and D
@@edwardsblahblah
A lbert
B
C
D
E ric
That's spelled blasphemy, just saying.
Will never compare to Chet Atkins
You can't beat the English .
Second only to Jimi Hendrix
Jimi Hendrix was a noise maker, Eric Clapton is in a different universe!
Sounds like a copy of
rockin pneumonia & the boogie woogie flu johnny rivers
I wish they’d show the pianist a bit, dont need to see Claptons face so much.
The singer always gets the main camera, that's how it is. Why would you show the band all the time or any part of it when you have a singer of the caliber of Eric Clapton?
I like seeing Clapton back then...wipeout the contrived Phil Collins makeover image that was shoved down our throats....
