Nice tone but the playing sounds like complete. Flat bends excessive string noise and almost a complete lack of direction or melody. Awful in isolation
Never understood why Noel said his solo was shocking because Paul Weller's is absolutely horrendous. You can thank Owen Morris for saving the song's solo section
People knew them for loving the Beatles, but they absolutely lifted and took inspiration from the Stones. The demo of "Be Here Now" was removed/replaced off their remastered record because it blatantly used the groove from Honky Tonk Women as a base. Many such examples.
4:51 and on is dope

Do it with other Oasis songs

Paul’s solo is improvised which I think was the vibe they were going for, but you’re right. Owen managed to tweak it in a way that works very well.
In the end, the combination of both sounds amazing
Yeah just flows through well done 👍 🏴
Beautiful.
Bonehead smashing it at @2:02!
Most underrated member ever made the live sound

4:32 almost Jimmy page or angus young sounding!
Thanks a bunch for this!!
Yes thanks for this good for learning to play it again too. Isn't it Weller and Marr on this? I literally have heard this song thousands of times now.
@Daffa Hazza think is cos Marr played it live with them I assumed he was in the recording session but he wasn't
I'm sure Johnny Depp is credited for playing on this track. Could be him & Weller?
@alistairmacdonald2634 Depp is on Fade In Out I remember
@@evilwomanofdoom Thanks. I knew I'd seen his name pop up somewhere. lol
RIP replay when hits the first Em really hard
E major
Getting Rolling Stones vibes from this, strangely.
Lol them two bands share some good similarities
thechrisman1345 stylistically id say there aren’t too many similarities between oasis and the stones
@@takethesky8478 Do you really want to say that "Live Forever" is the guitar from "Shine A Light" :-P
This song's intro is very similar to moonlight mile by the rolling stones

The playing on the solo seems a bit sloppy. Thank God it’s masked a bit more in the mix with the other instruments.
Didn’t they get Paul Weller in to play the solo on this? Random fact I think I’ve pulled out of my head... I may be wrong !
@@rboy91 You are right.
yup the secondary solo meshed so well that none of us noticed how sloppily played weller's part was. still incredible altogether though!
A bit sloppy is an understatement, I’d say horrendous!
It’s Oasis, it’s not supposed to be perfect
Wtf is that solo
