- So, still as of today, many folks don't understand why I (others too) do what I do. Why I call it "pesting". Ok, so there are tons of Ranches all over the world. And there are the vermin such as squirrels of all types and birds of many types as well as coyotes and other animals/mammals. These pest not only destroy property by defecating and digging holes everywhere, they also constantly eat the feed of the cows, llamas, goats, sheep and horses on the property. Many of these private farms/ranches are dairy farms as well as beef farms. Its how they make their money. When various critters eat the food of the livestock or destroy the property or even poop all over the fences and sheds and also in the food, it cost the farmer/ranch owner. Birds also poop in the areas where the milk is stored. A true ranch owner doesn't have the time to go around the property 8 hrs a day, PESTING! Sometimes they do shoot but overall, they simply can't run a farm and at the same time, PEST all day, everyday. So this is where people like me come in handy for them. I provide a service that they themselves don't have the time for.
If "hunting", "pesting", "culling" is not your thing, be SMART and don't watch. Also, don't comment negatively either. Its doesn't stop me or slow me down. I don't watch a lot of RUclips videos because of their content. Its NOT my thing. I also don't comment on those channels. Well, because i'm SMART and have COMMON SENSE!

Wingman115, how right you are. On that property alone, since we have pested the crap out of it and knocked off a lot of squirrels, the owners have started MENDING the property. Those damn squirrels LOVE burrowing under buildings, farm equipment and even they even burrow inside the livestock pins.. And thats not good over the long run

I own a Uragan .22 FAC for almost a year now and it's the best air gun I've ever shot. No problems, super accurate (JSB Jumbo and Hades), so handy and what a shot count! I love it. I am glad you are making this PCP more known to air gunners all over the world. Greetings from Belgium!

BOB, whats up Buddy!? Your videos were an inspiration to me for how I filmed this video. I like you style. Its weird because for some reason, it makes editing EASIER! And oh my God anything that makes editing EASY is a +. As for that 1 squirrel, i watched the raw video a few times and that slug hit him square in the right shoulder and travelled down to his left side. So in saying that, I'm sure his body took the entire force/FPE of the slug which aided in the lift.

yeah, that day, it was approaching 100 degrees. Im really like the power/speed of the NSAs. The more I shoot/hunt with it, the more I love 860 fps. Just something about it.

TED, check out AT's website bro but, if your gonna buy the rifle, look into getting it from KRALE. It literally took my gun 2 days to get here from way the hell overseas. Its stupid that international mail is faster than domestic (enough of my rant). I would love to hear your opinion on this rifle. So the bottle is a 530 cc, at 300 bar. Another lil GEEK thing about the air capacity is, they have a braided line going from the bottle to the receiver then, I installed a HUMA reg that has a much bigger plenum than the non-existing OEM reg. So in saying that, capacity is just a little bit more than 530 cc. Hope that makes sense. And yes, this rifle can make way more power than 85 FPE. It will go triple digit
One more thing Ted, they are coming out with a Uragan double bottle. Its called the Uragan King
Got the very first new Uragan in 30 cal. from Tony at Talon Tunes here in Florida and he did a nice tune before shipping it. It is one sexy, accurate bullpup.

Thanks for the video and that 30 cal does the job for sure. Weekend before last I bought an FX Impact Compact with a .22 cal barrel. The 30 cal barrel shall be in the future and I can’t wait to use on ground squirrels and prairie dogs next year when I visit Idaho and Wyoming. Thanks again I’m living vicariously through you all doing your pest control.
Nice gun and CONGRATS on the purchase. You will really like the 30 caliber. Good thing about the FX is that you really can easily switch in while in the field. Take out 5 Squirrels with the 22 then swap barrel and proble and bust PDOGS with the 30 cal all from the same gun. My hunting buddy does that often. He shoots his FX in 22 cal as a hot rod then swaps barrels on the next hunt to 30 and bowls stuff over....lol.
Tofazfou thanks I like the Impact just lots to learn about it. one which ammo it likes. I might go 25 cal, but not sure...the 300 cc bottle would go fast with 30 cal, but I will see what the future holds.

Ha ha, shoot man, the 25 is no joke but yeah, the 30 is just a bigger 25 cal. I was a staunch 25 cal owner for many years and I resisted the 30 cal as I didn't see it as necessary. Over the years, I shot many hunting buddies 30 cals and I was eventually "TURNED"...lol. Nice thing is, and this is what people forget, while the 25 can make just as many FPE as a 30 cal, the 30 cal has GIRTH over the 25 and that alone makes an impact difference. It also leaves a bigger wound. Its like going to the .357 cal. Side by side, the .357 also would make the .30 cal seem to hit like at 22.......lol

Awesome airgun. I really wish the ammo wasn’t so damned expensive. Lead is cheap really. The .30 cal is just awesome at longer ranges. Total Smackdown and humane kills. Lots of energy. Super accurate gun.
Heath, might I shed some light on the price of lead? Lead really isn't cheap at all. Some places are upwards of $3 a damned pound!!! If you go to some southern states, you can buy lead for $1+ a pound. The problem though is for a ammo manufacturer, they will only buy lead that is CERTIFIED PURE! And they buy TONS of it. The only place to get guaranteed quality and QUANTITY like that is, to get it from places like ROTOMETALS (others too) where it is almost $3/lb. Cheap lead does exist but, its not always available in quantity that last the life of a bullet business like FX or NSA.
I wish I can find someone who owns a Vulcan 2 tactical and do video pest control vids because that's one of my new favorite guns I'm hoping to get and I want to see it more in action. All I see is FX impacts X and vulcan 2 bullpups. At least your showing one of my other favorite guns but I guess I'll be the first youtuber showing pest control videos with the vulcan 2 tactical once I get it.

@@Tofazfou I switched my name from Pilot Mountain Airgunner, I moved so I no longer live at the bottom of the mountain. I also have a few arthritis issues, a couple being autoimmune and it makes me slow, a bit deformed here and there from it, but I get it done when I can, lol. I thought it fit with airguns as well, so there ya go, the whole story, lol.

BL, so glad you mentioned the Americana. Im actually planning a video based on various 30 caliber including the EDGUN, Americana, Hatsan, Uragan and possibly another. Not really about accuracy but something much more scientific. As soon as this tripple digit heat subsides, I will start recording.
The only hunting I've done with a .30 cal is with my Hatsan 130QE. At 35yds and a JSB 44.75gr it tore the "groundie" in half. Our ground squirrels around here are about the size of a rat.

Edgar, Im sure you would be happy with your purchase. There are some YT videos/reviews on the rifle/bull pup and IIRC, non of them are negative. It for sure is one of my BEST airgun buys EVER!

Its a Discovery VT 6-24x50mm (30mm) Scope. They are pretty good for the money and if you want better glass, you can opt for the HD version instead of the VT. The reticle is actually one of my favorites and wish more scopes had them. Its more expensive obviously. I am using a GO PRO Hero 7/Side Shot scope cam setup to record with.

I got one of the very first Uragan 30s from AGT It loves 47 gr NSA hollowpoints at 88 fpe. Huge exit holes with guts hanging out.. lol Accuracy, power and lots of shots from a sexy bullpup.
Stedy One my brother, thank you so much for telling me EXACTLY what FPE the 47's like! That saves me time and ammo. 920 FPS is no joke.....WOW!

If by "I have the 30 cal" means you have an Uragan, I say buy there brand. Its makes an already mouse fart quiet gun, "Mosquito Fart" quiet. and it look PERFECT on the gun

Mr I would like, unfortunately because of the COVID I cannot test, to know from you using the 45 grain fx hybrid fx slug in my Uragan .30 cal which is the best fps setting for a better result in terms of precision .... not beyond the 110 yards! Thanks mr!

Would you choose the Uragan over the Matador - both 30 calibers? I look to enjoying your videos as you air them. Thank you.
I have a Matador R5 on loan. And It too is a fine gun but I for sure love the Uragan more because of the cocking lever location and other features. The stock also looks better on the URAGAN and it has a much bigger air capacity.
I'm looking into getting this exact rifle, or maybe the "King" version. I was wondering if you had to do any modifications to run the NSA slugs through it??

Im curious how you have your Uragan set up, which regulator, and what adjustments for the NSA 49.5 .30cal slugs. Im using the same slugs in my Uragan. They do really well, but i seem to get a flyer 1 out of 5 shots. So at 75yards, i get 3 to 4 touching, and then that one flyer. Really frustrating.

Nice shooting with the Uragan 30 cal. It looks like a beast. Your thoughts on a compact powerful air rifle for hunting echos my next air rifle purchase but on a budget and left handed. While I have more time than money for an air rifle, I was wondering if you still planned on getting the Avenger and working your magic on it. For my $400 budget, is the Avenger the the best 100y PCP to purchase. So far the short range accuracy looks great but I have not seen anyone do the long range fine tuning you do to this rifle! Wondering if the lack of crown, affects long range accuracy and consistency in the Avenger? Thanks
As for buying the Avenger, I'm going to focus my attention and funds into building my boy his 1st long range airgun platform. He has got the bug! At this point in my juncture, the avenger would just sit in my garage for a while. Not because its anything bad on the avenger but because i have way too many airguns I haven't perfected yet and well, i just have too many airguns......lol.
As far as the Avenger being the best budget 100 yard gun, I would have to own it and tune it and shoot it for myself to make that judgement I do think its a good gun with a LOT of potential.

Is that stock regulator and was there any tuning to shoot the heavier slugs? Or is this stock out of the box no adjustments? I am trying to decide between the Uragan and the new FX maverick. While the FX is around 200$ more , it does have more versatility. But additional regulator, and the complexity of the FX, in engineering, less is usually better and more reliable. Out of the box the Uragan appears to be more versatile and can do it all versus the FX which requires a lot of fine tuning and adjustments. Also a lot more potential issues because of all the o-rings and complexity . As an all around "one size fits all" is the FX mav worth the additional $? Also I am a righty but definitely prefer the lever on the left as opposed to the right. Uragan can be set up either way . FX is on the right which means you have to use your trigger hand to operate the lever. I guess it's personal preference, but I think the lever on the left would be better for faster follow up shots. Any input or advice would be greatly appreciated. Unfortunately I can't try before I buy before making the decision so I have to depend on those with experience to make the best choice. They take awhile to get these days which leaves no tike to dwell, the "out of stock " or "backordered" appears almost immediately.

1st, thank you very much. And yes, i know exactly what squirrel you are referring too...lol. 2nd, yes, i do have the huma installed and set at 145 bar. I got a little bit more power like 2 fpe but i gained over 5 shots while doing so. So, from a true 4350 psi fill, i've gone from 55 shots at 85 fpe or less to now, 60+ shots at over 86-87 fpe. Which, that depends on what weight slug you shoot. The OEM reg has NO PLENUM what so ever because the whole reg body is the REG. With the HUMA, only the top quarter of the reg is actually the REG, the other 75% is plenum.

Wow I saw the brains flying out of one of those squirrels! I didn't know people were using .30 on squirrels. Sometimes it's confusing seeing people say this or that is the caliber for squirrels, when it ranges from the tightest British restrictions and people are still using .177 to your using 30 slugs! I will say that .25 is looking like a better choice than my Marauder pistol's .22, which sometimes requires a second pellet. Anyway, great shooting and that's a nice looking gun too.

Íve been exploring the airgun sport watching tons of RUclips videos and Ím at the point of getting my own rifle and join the air gunners crowd. Out of all the different airgun arenas, I am very attracted to varmint hunting, but living in LA doesńt give me a clear opportunity to go out and find places where to enjoy that thrill. Ídolo love to get connected with someone local that would walk me thru the paces to gain the basic knowledge in the field. I haveńt even purchase any gear but my eyes have been focused on the FX Wildcat and on the AT Uragan. I would love to hear your two cents on the subject

It's a CZ barrel that shoots pellets and slugs very well. I got one of the very first ones from AGT. HUGE 580cc bottle. Crazy good looking bullpup
Yep, like Stedy One sais, its the factory CZ barrel which are amongst the best out there. Its the same CZ that makes firearms

Actually, (he is such a good shot) to make things a bit more challenging and to level the playing field. He will sometimes change the scope on the mounts and turn it end-to-end 180 degrees.
OMG, Mark, I missed it in the editing process! WOW! Good eye dude. Here is the deal, that is how the go pro records/sees because its recording through a prism thats built in the mount. In the editing program, there is a feature that allows 1 to FLIP any video clip any kind of way you want. I forgot to FLIP the video 180. That right there is what we professionals call, "an editing boo boo"

Do you eat the rabbits?
Hell yeah, but only during the cold season. This day was tripple digit and the middle of the summer. Actually on this hunt, it was supposed to be more rabbits than squirrels because this property grows pumpkins and various vegetables. 2 weekends prior, the rabbits ate an entire field of seeds and saplings so nothing grew. The owner wanted the rabbits GONE....lol, he was pissed at them. But on this hunt, i only saw 4 rabbits and the weekend prior, i saw over 20+

Hello from the Krale country. Bought myself the woodstock version and a huma regulator. I will be using the jsb 44.75 and the nsa 43.5 . Can you share some info. What pressure is your Uragan set on and what speeds do you get?
Purchased my Uragan from Tony at Talon Tunes and Tony did the tune. I never touched or tuned it. Sorry, I cannot help you. Go to Tony or any forums.
Do you have the .30 version? What speed is it set? I could not find any info on the forums for 30 cal uragan huma setting. I was hoping Cedric will share his setting.

Well, opinions vary don't they. This place is a DAIRY FARM. One part of it is the dairy and the other part is just PROPERTY with no cows or livestock. The squirrels are all over the property. So, next time, don't take everything so literal if you don't know the area i shoot on. Not every farm or ranch is HOLLYWOOD beautiful or scenic. Feel free to tell the owners face to face to "NEATEN" their place up
