The future is crazy!!
This is not the future.
@@LeonEdwards1976 shut up
crazy bad yeah
Each one of those effects will be a £10 a month subscription we all know it!! 🤪
This is unbelievable 🤯
Thanks Laidback Luke for bringing your mixing style in this short session. Its hectic and we love it. ❤. Its the person you are really great and somehow you have the magic experience no matter what gear. It transcends across time forever. You work with any tool/vision and bring your game always. Legendary 🎉
Algoriddim, always ahead of the game in DJ software! Bringn the vinyl back-love it!
friggin awesome Luke ton of fun!
cant believe how clean you made this sound with that setup!!!
the way you load the vinyls is so cool
Future is really crazy 😂😂love it
More of this please!!! Soooo sick!!
This is unreal
if someone can pull this off perfectly, of course it's laidback luke. Daaaamn man this is crazy!
This is next level ❤❤❤
this is so strange yet really cool. Loved the cinematography of this one btw!
Amazing!❤
The grabbing of the records and placing it on the decks got me sold ....Great stuff Luke.. 💯
you do kno you can buy actual real turntables and actual put a real vinyl record on it and actual mix 2 tracks together in real life yea
@@techno_dependent This is way Cooler 😎
@@techno_dependent I play turntables, I also play in Traktor Pro with midi controller, but it is always something different, better to play vinyls. As I see this video, it remiinds me of the scene from Demolition Man, when Sandra Bullock asks Sly Stallone to have sex with him. If you don't know the scene, here you are: ruclips.net/video/uCjXxcvqsjk/видео.html Is this the end of humanity? It makes me quite sad.
This wiillldd!!!!! Niceee job ! Imm all for this!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
That Costel Van Dein Warning is a heater of a tune
Hope this evolves to broadcast or record the audio and internal video; maybe a twitch or Mixcloud integration
wow that's crazy! I want to try that out too, looks so futuristic and like a lot of fun. Really excited how this involves in the future
Yes friken rocked it too lol that’s insane ❤
i'm a big fan, but sometimes I feel LL tries to hard. THIS would flop in a club. Fun at home, maybe at a pool party, but for me I can tell you my clients would not buy in,
"Take Me Higher" 💛
You have the sauce!!
Siempre serás en mejor LUKE !!! Asombrado con esto ! Saludos desde México!
if I mute the video it's almost like I'm there
You have a good point 🤣
Eres un tremendo , buen video 😊
Very cool, i love how you can just spin round and grab the virtual records :-)
okaaaay! I'm mind blown and the mix is a LBL set regardless of the gear!
“And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane, by those who could not hear the music”
For club applications, I guess can output video via AirPlay, but how can Audio get into wired speaker system without distracting latency to allow seamless scratching? Thanks
Cooooool❤ 🇳🇱
Seems like fun to experiment with. I miss the scratching which to be honest have been waiting for the whole video.
Seems like it’s very intuitive because the performance is quite good which means the workflow is learnable.
sold
Virtual vinyl is now a thing! If I had said this 30 years ago, I would have been looked up in a madhouse.
I think DJ Jucy M did a video like this a while back too.
Last month in the same studio setup or should we say no studio lol. It can be anywhere nw days. Nxt level. But I just loved the quick mix by Laidback. His style is tee always ❤
Yeah, but she didn't had a table... looked way more awkward. 😅
I F#%^ing love this just another reason I want some apple vision but I just can’t afford them
Tracklist?
Now that's what's up thanks for dropping that Chicago House banger with the homies DJ Sneak & Bad Boy Bill!! @5:10
👐
the thing is... what is the table for? 😅
Isn’t an opus quad just as expensive as that headset? Anyway great set! Better than what I can do with a regular controller.
Needs a crowd in the background to give the AI experience its designed for. Otherwise better of just getting a proper controller.
Buenismoo.. no me gusta el futuro del djing pero en genial ver los avances tecnológicos
Looks funny!
Uma revolução na vibe )))))d😎b(((((
So,. if it is Virtual Reality, he is not really controlling the software? But rather, just getting a "high" off thinking that he is?
Sorry, but I’d rather invest in physical equipment than buying Apple Vision Pros.
I need the physical feedback when touching something😅
good to see that it's possible but i do not want to touch thin air lol
Track 2:40 ?
See it through my eyes 😂
Fun but not sure I ever want to watch someone perform like this.
Yes it needs a little bit more drama
Effects seem to need some work. Back spinning the record as well. The set up can't capture the speed of movement above a certain amount.
...ein guter anfang, jedoch noch zu viel latenz... dies verbessert sich in zukunft bestimmt noch...
I"m here for the Track IDs lol
I hope I will never see something like this in a club. :)
Why? Already have silent discos.
100% agree! Sadly, most people think that every new thing / inovation by itself is equal improvement. This big stage deejaying has lost it. As some great musician said, not long ago it was 80% about music and 20% about equipment. Now it's 80% about gear and 20% about music.
Not even sure about that 20%... 😢
No no no no
@@dejantetickovic4478 Its not the gear that will make you a good or bad dj .. The technology is there to give us a different prospective on what's possible. Choices are always good for any market.
@@djvictornova9188
You have missed my point. I agree that gear does not define you. But there would not be such huge industry if the majority would not fall in the trap thinking that. Right now it's pure consumerism. What is funny (or not), that the average listener or event organiser doesnt even hear any difference or care about those "groundbreaking" tools. If that would be the case, you would not see the Guettas, Aiokis, Hardwells, etc. at the TOP lists of dj's. Currently, it's much worse than the shitty era of rock super stars. Most of them could at least sing or drum or play guitar or...
If I dont count the few enthusiats, small undeground circles, the turntablist... it is looking bleak. Mostly is just new technology = more laziness / spoiled djs who think that without the newest folder search system, stems, AI suggestions and harmonics bla bla they cant be competitive anymore.
There is probably some kid without inetrnet, with a old casete and few wood sticks more creative than anyone of us.
Creativity is born out of scarcity.
Real. DJ’s play vinyl 🤣
I want to like and understand this so bad but it just seems like an incredibly expensive way to practice dj’ing in a way that has no real world application. Any counterpoints to that?
Let's say you have the apple vision thing, and you're traveling with it, potentially you could have fun in this app. Not a huge fan but also not anything super against it
If the future is this...
I'm glad to be in the present!
These tools are becoming more and more ridiculous, it seems like the movie "Minority Report"
has guessed the future, all fat people "working from home" lying on the couch with virtual glasses.
It seems like a horrible idea to me.
I'll be old-fashioned...
The weirdest and funny dj set I have ever seen! LOL No conexion with the public, funny! Will stop playing if ever have to be a dj like this
Hear me out! This approach might actually “save” DJing from what it’s devolved into (eg idolatry on the stage, people not (really) dancing because they are fixated on the stage, etc).
Imagine a physical club. Imagine the DJ wearing this set up in the club. Imagine people dancing. Imagine the DJ DJing their set WHILE IN THE CROWD, moving around, manipulating the tracks and doing their set, and the dancers are there with the DJ but have nothing iconic to stand in front of but just focus on each other now and the music.
But the DJ is having a blast mixing and moving around the crowd. You could project what the DJ sees (the interface) on select screens so people know what they are doing, but by and large it decentralizes the object of attention and makes the sound and immersiveness SHARED while still being virtual with this set up for the DJ.
That’s pretty amazing if you play this out to its extreme. The future of this is in physical experiences just as much as the virtual. You could do both AT THE SAME TIME.
Mind blown.
love this perspective
honestly this is the perspective people need to understand.
@@entropiece I think so too. We have to think about how it can expand the experience for everyone - not just think about ourselves as DJs and just our experience. If thought about in the right perspective it sort of turns into an exciting option to pursue for real world events.
Options are good.
Now the only thing left is to fully emulate a festival environment in your Vision's and we finally will solve the problem of idiots paying slots to play on festivals :)
Lolz
It's clever tech but it looks ridiculous 🤣
I understand LL is just having fun and he'd never do this live
But this shit was butt cheeks ~
Insaneee, I feel like Im in 2050
😂😂😂😂……..
I understand the new Mobile set up Luke has switched to but I can't get my head around this one this really has blown my mind
Not for me
stop making stupid dj tools great again
Not hating on LL here. But am I the only DJ who rather live and DJ in real life still on not this digital fake life?
This is a line I will not cross...
Sigh….a lot of money changing hands here…
Yeah crazy, someone is getting paid putting in work for their job..
Ughhhhh nobody cares!! This does nothing! If you guys can create this then you can definitely design a better sampler!! Also have technology to make it compatible with iOS with 99% of current controllers and CDJs out there!! C’mon!! No excuses!!! What are you guys waiting for!!
Absolutely ridiculous... deejays nowadays already have their hands more in the air then on the decks... this looks stupid imho.
This is disappointing, Luke. This just looks like you are DJing just for the money. The software is awful and looks unpolished. Where are the EQ knobs? Why are the cue pads in front of you rather than at the actual decks to keep things moving along effectively? One of the most shameless corporate shillings I have ever seen.
