sounds a bit Kraftwerky with the instrumental, a bit like early Talk Talk with the verses and a bit Duran Duran like with the Chorus, though that’s just me
The band said on German TV they plan on getting back together to record new versions of TMS (Subways of your mind) and probably their other songs... These may have been the only 3 actually recorded in the studio.
it strikes me that i only found this so early (an hour after it was posted) because i listened to 'Everyone knows that' yesterday and today. In other words, because a guy I'll never know wanted the source music from a old porno he was watching. I love humanity sometimes.
The more I listen to the EP, the more I’m starting to think that at least this song and TMS/Subways of your Mind allude a tad to a German reunification message? I know that there was a theory going around when the TMS search gained traction that the song was unidentifiable because it had been smuggled into West Germany and only existed in the form of the recording off the radio, and even though that theory can now be conclusively be proven false, I think the theme still shows up in those two songs. Some parts of the lyrics to this song appeal to an openness toward change (“welcome changes not as dangers” from verse 1) and indicate isolation and, possibly, the alienating effects it has (“there’s no world around me,” and the song title “Heart in Danger” - in danger of alienation?). As for TMS itself, the wind analogy (think of how wind represents new beginnings, as well as expressions like “winds of change”) and lines such as “time for young and restless dreaming” indicate optimism towards change and the possibilities of new configurations of society that it brings ^^
My favorite thing about whenever a lostwave song is found is getting to hear what other songs the artist made that have never been heard before.
They have been heard before, just not by neckbeards
@@therealvbwyeah, in the case of EKT it was heard by many an 80s porno consumer, which is... better?
It's strange how the band has so many more electronic and keyboard influences. The original TMS felt like it was more rocky tbh.
it seems like the original was an early demo
It was in fashion at the time. Take a listen to the Yes record 90125. This song has more new age and funk/disco energy to it which is quite cool.
i think, it sounds like tears for fears

@@Neddyfram yeah the intro is definitely more than a little Kraftwerk
I'd listen to a whole album by these guys
Ikr? They're all so catchy, I love talking hands cus it's so funky. Seriously if these guys had kept pushing they could've become huge in the 80s
@@ITMenterprises They're still alive, it's never too late
i can definitely see one of their songs blowing up on tiktok no joke@@rapcoremanx

Trevor Rabin - 90124 is as close as you're gonna get ;D
This is abother absolute banger! These guys should have been huge!
They are probably now more huge than if they were only known in Germany and had English songs that most people didn’t understand back then…
@@eswarjuritrue, it's just a shame they had to wait 40 years to be fully appreciated

They deserve a lot better. ❤
0:46 i love this part
This song fucking rocks! Great song!

This is so good
toms from In The Air Tonight👀
I noticed that too!! Made me laugh in a good way. Good music, good toms!
I knew that wasn’t just me hearing things!
Interesting
EDIT:
I thought you just found a track that sounded similar, not that these are the actual guys! What the hell!
The synth in the beginning here sounds very similar to the guitar in the intro of Sick, Dirty and Mean by the band Accept.
Djesse motif before Jacob Collier was a thing 😂
What genre is this?, this is so good!
Alternative Dance I want to say.
New wave or synth-pop
It got a kinda heavy riff in the chorus
Surely it's New Wave. If you want to hear bands with similar sound, try Duran Duran or Talking Heads
Italo Disco most probably
