First off Josh, it is great to see you posting again….I an glad all is well with you. Many years ago I purchased one of the first Pro Angler 12 from HOBIE and it was just an awesome experience. Unfortunately the kayak was somewhat too heavy for me after a while due to my physical abilities but Kayak angling surely is one of the most wonderful and enjoyable styles of angling. Some very nice fish you landed christening your Kayak. No good regarding your drone, could hardly believe an eagle would attack it. Thanks for sharing again Josh.

Well done mate on the new kayak congratulations. Kayak fishing is great as you'll be able to get to places inaccessible by boat or landbased, and it's a very peaceful and quiet way to fish. It took me a bit of getting used to but once I got everything dialled in its now a breeze. You'll love it mate 👍🏻🎣

And the Hobi Kayak they are a weapon,how good is the reverse (it's so handy ) HWS are the best all great people I got the Compass from them and like you couldn't be happier.Great video as usual.
Mate it maybe a bit more expensive. But have a look at swellpro drone’s Australian owned company their drones not only float. You can land and takeoff from the water and believe it or not are waterproof. But great work young fella doing a great and always entertaining job. 😊
If I didn’t have to worry about crocs up here in the NT would hundred percent be doing this style of fishing! For now I’ll just stick to stealing the cousins when I visit😂
nice new toy build up them leg mussels i dont have the reverse on my mirage drive {old school} that must be so good those big whiting are called KIDNEY SLAPPERS put it under your arm and theyll slap your kidneys when big enough very nice fish ✌✌

Great session. - my only advice, from bitter experience, is get a bigger net if you’re chasing big flattys in the kayak! I had a net similar to yours and lost a 90cm flatty at the yak cause he wouldn’t fit in the net!
I’ve got en hobbie mararge 5.1end love it it doesn’t have reverse paddleing tho I youse my paddle but it is all good I love chasing fish in the summer time
Replacement arrived!By the way, I did forget to mention that the original lure did have a decent strike however as most anglers will attest you can get a hit ruclips.net/user/postUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 and fish will hang on and release lure. I used the replacement lure yesterday and ran thru a Shimano Waxwing, Kastmaster, Bobber (set to sink). I found the does run deep (I casting on the flats 3.5'). Make sure you adjust your rate of retrieve and rod tip angle (up) to prevent getting snagged on bottom. Used it a couple of times and action was very lifelike (looked like local bait fish for trevally), craftsmanship very good....however eyeball fell out. I asked for replacement and it is on it's way! It was very easy to change out treble to single inline hook.
Hey Josh, you could ise the drone footage to see how far you need to be not to spook the fish etc. Im guessing youve already dreamt of fly fishing off the yak too?

The ghost perch double clutch hands down is the best colour out there, at least freshwater in vic it is unbelievable how good it is!
