I was thinking exactly the same. It is very difficult to know if a product is the right for you when 99% of the promo stuff is metal, djent and similar things.
Came for the app demo and stayed for the amazing musicianship. Sean demonstrated this product better than anyone and he didn't say a single word. I ended up downloading the demo to see if it will be a good solution while practicing on Football Sunday and my amp and Helix are in another room. Even if it doesn't end up being the winner, at least I have discovered Sean Halley and his band "Fraudprophets".
i will like to see Positive Grid MultieFX pedal, I believe it will be beautiful and of high quality standard. with such multieFX, consumers can download tones from the tonecloud and transfer the preset into the patch of the multieFX pedal. this multiFX will be a seamless marriage between Bias Amp2 and BiasFX. I believe Positive Grid can be achieved.
I downloaded the demo version, there is a slight latency. Already checked my interface safe mode and it's in minimum latency. Is it because it's the demo version? I tried using other plugin, no latency spotted.
I don’t know why but to me modeling seems to lack a bit of attack or highs or “crispiness” compared to the real things. Kemper seems to be the only one without this issue. 🤔
Sean has spoken over the years about his ears being sensitive to super-crispy sounds, so he has a tendency to dial things warmer. There is plenty of top end to please fans of crisp sounds, trust us!
Can't begin to express how happy I am to see a Bias demo that isn't just metal or djent.
^THIS

I second this. I am tired of the ugly metal sounds.
Love how positive grid has evolved. Can’t wait for the next product.
Sweet "Vinnie Moore" pivot picking lick! @ 01:31 ! SICK!

Sounds incredible from a monster player.
I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ PositiveGrid. That was a great tone.
Geniuses, thank you for your existence and for taking the flag of technology to the next level! A fan from Costa Rica :)
the use of volume knob to control tone didnt go unnoticed.
He's so good, even the flippin lampshade is having a psychedelic episode.
Sounds Killer Sean!

Great playing :-)
I remember all those guitars!
Sean wails!
Sean is awesome!
its a beautiful thing.
Where’s the blues?
THIS. DOOD. CAN. PLAY.
this man is genius from line6 he's funny though
The tones are amazing.. and the bass sounds insane too! I want to record bass at home and I want this tone without amp.. any suggestions?
Sure, get BIAS AMP 2 Professional. Fantastic bass tones in a convenient plugin AND Standalone application.
Nice 👍
does line 6 own PositiveGrid or did the Helix guy jump ship?
Sean left Line 6 in 2016, and has been our Director of Product Marketing since August of 17'.
Plz give tabs!

Should not be any latency if set up right on your interface on a normal computer/laptop
It's very "positive" Sean:-)
Are these presets available? I searched in Tonecloud but nothing found. I have the Elite version. Thanks
Not quite yet, we are getting them ready!

"Blues tone"

Dude, it gets crispy. Trust me. You can dial it in (to my ears) better than kemper.
Great sounds, but that ain’t no blues playing!
