- Clyne Valley Mountain Bike Trails ‘Pond lift’ climb to ‘Sanitised Strip’ descent (XC loop)
A real time multi camera angled ride around a Clyne Valley mountain bike trail.
Trail sanctioned by Swansea Council in partnership with Clyne Riders - engaging with back on track for the build to enhance the Clyne Riders existing trails. A massive thank you to Clyne Riders for creating a great trail network within Clyne Valley Country Park.
Video created to raise awareness of these trails, hopefully inspire people to ride in the woods and as a personal homage to the trails and people who created them.

Seriously well done 🤗 You showed the trail off so well 👍
Thanks Miriam 🙏
Me and my mate couldn't find any trails when we first when up. This will help a lot, thank you!
Thanks Emyr - hoping it will help! Enjoy
Excellent video. Keen to give it a go. It looks less technical than I was expecting for a red grade.
Thanks Cathal - yep, it’s all easily rollable - sections of the first climb are steep - muddy too throughout winter. Thanks for watching 👍
Another great video, I can only imagine the work that you put into creating it.
I’d love to have a few laps there it’s a pity it’s not my local trail. Thanks for posting👍
Thanks so much Stu! Yep it seemingly took forever to edit - wanted to do the track justice after the local boys put so much into it. Thanks for watching 🙏
Brilliant mush. I was up there yesterday came off and ripped my thumb out of it's socket, i was on the trail just up from the pond with the jumps and steep drops over the embankment just above the concrete walk path.
Great video. Thanks.
Thanks very much for watching! Thanks to the Clyne riders we get to hurt ourselves up there. How’s that thumb today?
@@self-propelledfun thanks for your kind response.
I was up there on Friday just gone, less than 10 minutes from my home in mumbles it is. I was walking with my missus up the trek just having a nose about seeing where I went wrong (got to be around it see).
Nice to walk it slowly the different tracks and see how dangerous it is, lol.
Yes my hand is in plaster temporarily. Should be coming off in about 10 day's time.
My ADHD impulses see compel me to peddle faster than I should, my fear levels as a neuro-divergent are a lot less lower than neuro-normals.
I still get the fear of going to fast downhill, round the burns, over the jumps etc. But it's a lot lower than normal people.
The process of that fear and the conclusion could be nasty accident, I get about 5%
Whereas a normal would get after the conclusion of the process of fear about 80%
That's why I end up doing crazy daredevil shit, Ha 🤣🤣🤣 lol.
As a child I wanted to be a Stuntman, in a strange kind of way I ended up one, lol,my missus is the same with her ADHD and the process of fear, she wanted to be a stuntwoman as a kid to.
Though she's more of a BMX flatlander, tricks on the pegs etc.
Bless you.
If you turn left at the bottom of the track to the cycle path instead of right, you end up by the railway pub don't you?
Yep 👍
@@self-propelledfun yep there's two tracks side by side each other, that lead down from the top when you come off the gravel track, if I remember rightly.
I took the track to the right tearing down the steeps into the deep woods.
Came out at the bottom onto the concrete cycle path, and picnic tables on my right, and the railway pub just up on the left.
