Hi Johny, enjoy watching your videos mate.
Im just wondering do you use any geo textiles under your sub base or do you compact it into the soil?
Hi mate, you can if the subgrade is unstable
Great video Johnny boy. All the best from Dave at Knights Landscaping.
Happy New Year Dave Mate to you and your family

How does the laser level calculate patio gradients for you? Must be great asset in the van.👍👍
It has a slope indicator I have had the rep out to show me but they do have a RUclips account
Top vid again mate
Have a blessed week drive safe in morning ❤
Did you like it Gareth mate
Hi Johnny boy
Hope your well mate. , looks a nice job mate we use a leica level mate , we can set it to the falls as level , very accurate sometimes to accurate lol , bloody good tool though , we use rebar as studs in floor for demarcation heights as well , makes it so much easier , well for us anyway , the rain mate making that work a nightmare by the looks mate ❤️👍 , can’t wait to see the final video mate , keep safe pal ❤have a good week
Thank you John mate x
Hello Johnny do you not lay a membrane under the MOT to stop the hardcore migration?
That’s a valid comment, in this case the substrate was very stoney and we put the Mot in quite deep Jack mate so it was solid
@@GreentopLandscapes its good practice to put one in ..as you know
It’s not always required
You would find it useful to lay corex board over your work when the job demands you or the customer to walk over what you have laid especially prior to grouting.
Ive seen loads of your videos and other peoples were they are constantly cleaning and reecleaning.
The correx is cheap lightweight and you can hose it and you can fold it over or cut it with a stanley and can reeuse it on multiple jobs.
Great idea Paul mate your right
Are those muck boots? Any good? You feeling better?
Hi, Peter I have had those for years and still going good, they are good mate. I am getting there now to be honest. thank you Sir

Hi Johnny, im wondering if 60x90 porcelain tiles would hold my hot tub if laying on pedestals?
The tiles are made by Geotiles ceramica.
Layzspa santorini hot tub specs
H 80cm
W 216cm
Filled weight 1253 kg
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Kyle
Hi Kyle mate, I personally think it won’t but really this is a question for the manufacturers.
@@GreentopLandscapes
Thanks for getting back to me mate. I tried calling them but they didn't pick up unfortunately.
I'll not take the risk with the pedestals.
What sub base do you use and whats the typical depth you go?
Don’t take a risk Kyle mate
