- Today, I'm explaining why I haven't really talked about Starkid Productions... Like I mention in the video- it's not insane or dramatic. It's just...weird.

Hey friends! Today I'm explaining why I haven't really talked about Starkid Productions. Like I mention in the video- it's not insane or dramatic. It's just a super awkward and weird coincidence!

When I first saw the title, i expected “I’m not comfortable with their topics” or “I don’t like their song styles”.
Let me tell you that of all things, this explanation was not what I expected

Team Starkid really embraces what theater should be about...a place where everyone is allowed to be themselves and be loved for it. By putting their musicals out to the public, they are giving possible viewers almost an inside to a theater experience without having to pay. I do love seeing a show in a theater on broadway, but sometimes lying in bed with a Starkid musical is the way to go. They have opened my eyes and many to what the true essence of theater is and they are GODS for doing so...I love them for allowing us into their world and seeing what they are all about. I am also a huge huge fan of theirs and hope they continue to make many more musicals in the future! Also love your videos :)

The fact that Starkid post their shows online is so amazing to me 'cause I never saw a show in a theater, especially a Brodway one, 'cause I don't live in the USA. Musicals in Brazil, my country, aren't very popular and it's kinda rare to see them in live.

yeah, it’s so inspiring to see how they’ve grown from just a college theater group and how their production quality has improved throughout the years. my fav shows are hmb and tgwdlm
Answer of the day: Starkid is absolutely amazing but my favorite musical is from Tin Can Bros(Spies Are Forever) but has some Starkids in it.

Starkid is the reason why I even know about musicals. I live in a small town in France and musicals aren't huge a thing in our culture like in the US. We're very lucky to have Starkid musicals on youtube when you think about it

I love starkid with all my heart their musicals are amazing, well thought out, Jeff Blim is great at writing witty lyrics. I also love that the cast are such close friends (Jon Matteson and Robert Manion are roommates as well as Lauren Lopez and Joey Richter) Their musicals are also so accessible and that’s amazing

QOTD: Let me put it this way. After wiggling my way into the Starkid fandom, I decided I wanted to kick it up a notch. Get more than just a taste, ya know? I wanted everything and more, and now there's no way I'll give up on them, even when the world's at stake. I found Starkid when I was in my hardcore Harry Potter phase. I didn’t know what Starkid was at the time, but I enjoyed the little clips that were in my RUclips recommended.

Same! I started watching AVPM when I first got into Harry Potter (2015 I think) but didn't really explore them any more. Last year or maybe even 2018, I'm not sure, I decided to watch AVPM again then watched the whole series and then I moved onto some of heir other stuff and now I'm hooked.

I also love how accessable their musicals are, I started watching them around 8 years ago now, and I instantly fell in love. If it werent for them I wouldn't be interested in musical theatre and I owe it to them for opening up that world for me.
On a side note, those getting into Starkid should watch 'Me and My Dick,' one of their oldest but, in my opinion, the best.

i love them. i binge watch their musicals on RUclips several times a year. it usually starts with the potter musicals and then I end up watching all of them. i really want to see them live tho. i appreciate them so much 😭

For something similar style to Starkid, I’d love to see a reaction to “Ya Like Jazz? A bee musical” it’s the same parody style, and I believe the whole musical has been posted for free by the creator on RUclips!
I love the accessibility of starkid and I really do think that they are proof that people still will come to shows even if they know at some point they will be able to watch it for free. Which is a lot of people’s arguments against making theatre that much more accessible.

I’ve been into musical theatre for a majority of my life and just got into starkid this week, I admire them so much especially now they share their productions (well filmed, and produced) with everything rn I’ve been watching crappy bootlegs bc my family doesn’t like theater enough to see shows so they allow me to experience amazing shows
QOTD: I only watched A Very Potter Musical once when I was younger. I'm deffinitely not a Starkid stan, but I respect them!

This is so weird! just found out about Starkid (i've just recently gotten into musicals) and watched tgwdlm and now you're talking about it lmao!! I really loved it anyway and i'll probably watch a few more
I’ve loved starkid since 7th grade, when I was JUST getting into musical theatre. They’re my favorite theatre company ever and are part of the driving point that made me love musicals and, and so I guess they’re a huge part of the reason of why I’m now going to a theatre school :)
