I wanted to learn this song so bad but i didn’t really find any good tutorials on it, but when i heard yours i had to learn it this way because i thought it was just too beatifull. About a year later now and i still play this tune on my guitar almost every day. I love this song and i adore the cover you made of it.
this cover gives me nostalgia. when I first started playing I watched your cover of this tune and I fell in love with it like crazy. today I can play this and it always reminds me of how much I have progressed. thank you for this fantastic cover :)
Vermundr44 no sir, no pick, at 0:48 I use my index nail when stumming down, and my thumb nail when strumming back up That would sound pretty much the same using a pick thaugh hope that helps :D
Yes thats what i thought you did, but i cant get a grip on the pattern could you give me an example as like up down down up? on how you do it? Thanks so much :D
I listen to this 3 or 4 times a day. It goes beyond just good musicianship. It's a great work of art in the emotion it evokes. I can actually see and feel the characters in the movie. Thanks.
Posted nearly 8 yrs ago ,,,,,, damn where have I been.....i could have had all that time listening to this over and over. This was my Dad's favourite film ever, and hearing this has brought back so many happy memories thank you so much ,,,,,,, as for the 621 i think you may need your ears syringed
When I started playing guitar.....I used to watch it everyday.... thinking that even if I tried I can never play like this. But now 2 years.....I think I can. And that makes me feel so damn good. Thank you for making me love music
@@martypello7870 Me, too...after 5 years or so i come across this one atleast once in a year...love it...the ending strumming combined with whistle is an eargasm
Of all the covers I listen to I even had to purchase unlimited data on my phone service this vedio this musician has inspired me I been listening to this vedio every time I need inspiration since 2017 this is the best cover for me to go to I love it lots . #1 it has rhythm melody, harmony skill hitting all the right notes and it has all the parts needed to be a great musician like this gutadon ...Roland J Gutierrez from Magdalena New Mexico USA 🇺🇸
Legend has it Flash Jokey is still reading comments. Anyway great work man, this has inspired me to put a year into learning this myself, the good the bad and the ugly is my favourite movie of all time.
This was such an enjoyable video to watch, really brought back some memories. I saw this as a little kid when it was first released, all 3 of the trio, actually. After seeing this video and arrangement, I think I could bumble through enough to get something fairly recognizable. Thanks for sharing!
Obviously you've been playing guitar for a while, so I understand if you don't remember, but how did you practice finger picking? I have a lot of difficulty doing it as speed.
I saw this at 2017 then at 2018 then at 2019 and now at 2020 ...it's a masterpiece. Lots of respect to u sir. I'm offering you a wishkey let's go to the saloon.
Dear Flash, It was a really great and inspiring video for a learner like me. Kindly request you to share the arrangement of the tabs. Warm Regards, Sagar
There is always some idot asking for TABS in the comment section. If you can not learn this by ear and eye, then forget to learn it from TABS. Maybe in 10 years you can learn it - if you practise 4 hours every day.
Oh you're talking about the intro part, well no i'm a bad teacher XD but come on, it's not that hard to figure out, just opens on the 3 top strings as bass, and the melody on the bottom string is easy to guess
When you touch fretboard lightly, you eventually pickup speed. If you let yourself practice, you will actually get a second wind, third wind and so on. Go for it people!
I would pay money to see you perform this. I love this, hands down best version on youtube I have ever seen with an acoustic guitar!! I know this was made in 2013, but can you please re-upload this video with 4k full HD? That would be amazing!!
"Fingerstyle guitar is the technique of playing the guitar by plucking the strings directly with the fingertips, fingernails, or picks attached to fingers, as opposed to flatpicking (plucking individual notes with a single plectrum, commonly called a "pick"). " LMAO did you even watch the video? Don't embarrass yourself trying to correct me.
nope sorry i don't have videos that teach that it's just a strum/percussion pattern you have to get used to here's how it works: 1. hit the guitar above the strings with the palm of your hand and strum down with your index at the same time, (bass drum + chord at the same time) 2. strum up with your index 3. quickly slap the strings and let them ring (snare+chord sound at the same time) 4. strum up with your index repeat try practicing this with a single chord, and when you're confortable enough, try changing the chords without messing up your strumming pattern it wont take more than a couple of minutes if you already know multiple strum techniques
u bring back memories. i used to watch the good the bad and the ugle all the time when i was young, this is just great i wish u can teach me how to play this!! this great man

Watched this 9years ago and still considering it as a best cover till now ❤❤❤
Playing this on a beat-up old guitar, missing a string, and apparently recorded with a potato, but this is still the best version of this I've heard.
Missing what string? I count six.
@@SqueakyNeb Ah. I was looking at the fretboard, it looks like the D string is missing. I guess it really was recorded with a potato.
I came looking for this comment....I only see 5.
All the strings are there but it looks like the D string is a lighter gauge.
I don't see a difference.

its finngerstyle
Walter Wong *fingerstyle and no lmao do you even know what fingerstyle means?
"Fingerstyle guitar is the technique of playing the guitar by plucking the strings directly with the fingertips, fingernails, or picks attached to fingers, as opposed to flatpicking (plucking individual notes with a single plectrum, commonly called a "pick"). " LMAO did you even watch the video? Don't embarrass yourself trying to correct me.
Nice sir I started listening to this music every morning
makes me feel like getting a pony!
Dude, the speed and accuracy on the strings is epic! Time to practice more!
Hello! Wonderful cover :D But i just can't get the last part with percussive sound, could you suggest any videos for better understanding? Thank you!)
nope sorry i don't have videos that teach that
it's just a strum/percussion pattern you have to get used to here's how it works:
1. hit the guitar above the strings with the palm of your hand and strum down with your index at the same time, (bass drum + chord at the same time)
2. strum up with your index
3. quickly slap the strings and let them ring (snare+chord sound at the same time)
4. strum up with your index
repeat
try practicing this with a single chord, and when you're confortable enough, try changing the chords without messing up your strumming pattern
it wont take more than a couple of minutes if you already know multiple strum techniques
Flash Jockey Alright, I will try, thanks:)
Thanks found the actual way to play it after a long time. Didn't know first part was harmonics. Keep it rocking!
