I wouldn’t believe this if my father didn’t tell me about a near death experience he had. It changed him. It also scared him because of what he saw. He was not religious and he initially lied to me about what he saw. I’m glad he told me the truth before he died.

I have a friend- a righteous convert to Judaism. When she was 18 years old, she started showing interest in Judaism. Her father, an atheist, told her that the Torah is nonsense and constantly mocked it. Her father had a heart attack when she was 19 and was rushed to the hospital, clinically died and then he was revived. He woke up with a horrified look on his face and said “I want to tell you before I go that I saw hell and heaven, G-d, the truth and the truth is Torah. I feel terrible for mocking the Torah and I want to tell you to continue learning Torah and to become a Jew.” Then he took his last breath.

This has profoundly hit my soul. 172 references I can't deny. The bad is I'm having nightmares and I feel like I'm a deer in the headlights. Not that I was doing a bunch of things wrong in my Judaism and life. Rabbi really cleared away the cobwebs and made me think...I can do better and that's the good part. Sometimes my soul needs a swift kick. 😳 WOW!!

As a non Jew, but Jewish grandma being an ethnic Jew, I agree this is pretty good. How do we clear ourselves of these sins?
For making a bad decision when I was a teen I’ve been going through sleep paralysis and it has been fighting for my life almost every night…Now, that I have been reading and understanding Torah and if sleep paralysis happens, HaShem gives me the strength to eliminate the negative energies through prayer while going through it.

Chazal says that we judge ourselves when shown our "films" of our lives which is why we should learn give the benefit of the doubt and practice it in life.
I've listened to 1000's of hours of NDEs. 99% say the we judge ourselves. I have a marble rolling in my head tho. Coming back from Israel I had a layover in Paris, France. Can I really say I've been to Paris?? These NDEs have never crossed the point of no return, so they don't have all the answers. They felt like they did when they were there and I believe that 💯. Review: An apocalyptic cross between X-files, The Walking Dead and Saw, with a strongly religious undercurrent. Quite a slog at 2 hours 45, but the shocking imagery and terrifying commentary pulled me through the quite torturous movie. Watching this was a bit like going to hell, so i guess the producers did a good job. 5/10 for the bit about the wigs.

What are the similarities between Islamic version and Jewish version of what happens in the grave and Jahannam. Do you know any good vidoes that's goes into detail about the the Islamic grave punishments and judgement day/Jahannam just like this video does.
@FaisaBeauty my point in similarities was we both have the belief in punishment of grave and the jahannam. And some specifics In detail like hanging from private parts and so on.

Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding the noahide thithings(offering one tenth)
I have seen in TORAH that,
1.Abel and Cain offering the harvest of their work from the field and flock.
2.Abraham giving one tenth to the priest when he came back after winning the battles with the kings(a non Jew I suppose; since the TORAH hadn't been given to him. Please apologise if I'm wrong)
3. Jacob promising GOD to pay one tenth if GOD take care of him.
So all these people offered one tenth straight to GOD. But not for charity. They must have given to charity as well. Therefore are noahides also suppose to give the one tenth of their monthly income to ex: a Jewish religious institute/Rabbi (or to Jewish orthodox community who are involved in only learning TORAH and where men are not working most of the time) in addition to giving to charity? Because most of the noahides nowadays are only receiving a monthly income instead of receiving a harvest from the field.

I have a question, or more precisely a guess, and I would like to ask you if it is correct. I have read through all of his texts and readings again and looked through them. And I have come across a guess, namely a few months ago I asked you why almost all rabbis say that the gehinom only lasts 11 to 12 months, although there are texts that say that for this and that you get 100 or 200 years of gehinom. And then it occurred to me, could it be that time runs differently in our world and in the spiritual world? That one second in our world could be billions of years in the spiritual world? Could my guess be correct? Thank you in advance
Thanks to your shiurim I have stopped doing things that will make me more likely to do serious aveirot and have learnt to guard my eyes, ears and mouth . Hopefully I can make Teshuva for all my aveirot (which is a lot) and make it to gan Eden

This is a serious question: If you convert to Judaism, can you wear cooler outfits than the ones that are worn by modern Jews? For example, can you wear clothes or styles that look like what ancient Jews wore if you’re covered up?
yes if its modest, but not advisable if you will live in a community that doesn't dress like that and thereby people will view you as strange and more is lost than gained. I agree the clothes of past are better than present, but we also have to look at things from the perspective of greater gain/good for each of our decisions.
