Will that tiny o ring in the shaft that goes into the torque converter cause a transmission leak if it is worn or flat , I think this is what is wrong with my transmission
I think I'm having an issue with the parking pawl on my q50. Didn't know the pawl was right there as soon as you took the tail housing apart. With this knowledge can you give me a honest estimate what you'd charge to repair or replace the part. I dont want to be overcharged when I go to a local shop here in TX Thankyou.
At this point, we only work on vehicles, not complete vehicles, however, I’d assume that a shop would charge 3 or 4 hours labor to take it apart and fix it.
How much metal on the magnets would call for a rebuild. Took my car to a shop because of that code related to the Tcm. And they told me it needed a rebuild and it would all cost about 6 thousand. Told me the Tcm cost 3 thousand.
That’s a tough question to answer, transmissions can fail without any metal and can sometimes work with a lot. That said, if it was working correctly before the code showed up, chances are that if you fix the cause of the code, it will work correctly again.

Where can I order the parts? Where can I get the majority of the internal parts for that Transmission?
