Hi selin. I liked your videos. And I am thanking you so much. I am asking if you can put all sentences in the video in one page at the end. Later I can make screen shot and read them more carefully. So when I repeat the video I will remember them all easily.
Teşekkür ederim.
thanks selin u gave very interesting information keep it up plz give us more lectures regarding turkish soon i will be able to speak inshallah
Very important phrases
Valla biraz halk arasında kullanılan bir tabir😄Yazı dili için bunu öğreymen garip Selin hanım😊
Garip değil. Burada, Türkçe'de en çok kullanılan; onaylama ve onaylamama hakkındaki 10 adet kelimeden bahsediliyor. Düşünecek olursak, Türkçe'de valla veya vallahi kelimesi, ateistlerin bile istemsizce kullandığı bir kelime haline gelmiştir. =)
Türkçe öğrenmeye çalışanları görünce heyecanlandım :D
Thank you selin.😘😊
Keep going.😍😘😘
Tesekkurler
Very good lesson, good examples. And your English is excellent.
I was thinking that Valla means something like Truly, Indeed, Really... because I did hear expression like Valla, bu kiz cok guzel.... so, I was thinking that they mean something like Yes really(indeed) the girl is beautiful.
Is there some similar use, or it is straight Valla ➡️ Well.
Thank you
Milena Stoyanova Valla (actually it is “vallahi") means I swear to The God in Arabic, and we use it in Turkish as well. But in a casual conversation, it has a less strong meaning. In the sentence given in the video, it is more like a filler word, such as well, erm etc. Your example is also correct, you can emphasize a statement with valla.
Thank u, sweetie pie!
Hahahaha
Can İ say "sanırım" or "galiba" to a teacher if he is asking me a question and I'm not sure about my answer?
Hi Nata
Sure!

How yorum change the meaning of words when it comes together with words means just in connection.
Im arab and i say “belki” we use it too hahaa but just for casual .. not in the formal language
Jowana Abomokh yes we do have A LOT of words from Arabic. At the beginning ‘valla’ was actually ‘vallaha’ which is arabic :)
no name we always use arabic words in our daily lives..; Merhaba , selam, hayırlı olsun, selamun eleykum, sıhatler olsun vs vs..
no name bu konuda aşağılık kompleksin mi var?.. Arapça sözcüklerimizin olması Arap olduğumuz anlamına gelmiyor. Zaten bu videoyu izlemekte olan insanlar da Türkçemizi öğrenmek istemiş, ülkemize saygı duymuş insanlar ki böyle zor bir dili öğrenmeye çalışıyorlar. Arap olmadığımızın farkındalar. Kendi kendini yiyip durma kardeşim
no name sen beni tanıyor musun acaba ki? Bu dediklerini anlıyorum. Arapların hali ortada. Ama sen hala aşağılık kompleksi yapıyorsun. Burda Arap gören yok zaten. Büyü artık. Araplar kim biz kimiz.
@@ndisney woooow i just read your comments. Now Im taking private turkish lesson I really adore this language
Can i use sanirim to talk about something that will happen in future? Maybe this is the difference between galiba and sanirim.. one for something that it didn’t happen yet .. maybe maybe.. im just wondering so please let me know if its this way or it doesn’t matter .
Galiba yarın yağmur yağacak.
Sanırım yarın yağmur yağacak.
Both sentences can be translated as "I think it'll be raining tomorrow.". There's no real difference between them but "sanırım" is more likely to saying a conclusion about tomorrow's weather. But as I said both can be used.
Adenzu teşekkürler canım
@@jowanaabomokh7247If you want a literal translation,

Sanırım -> i think

Hello. Thanks Selin for your course and also smile. May be English subtitles are not needed. Sometimes it is hidding some valuable content. This is just my point of view. You may have good reasons to add English subtitles. Many thanks

Go to the three dots at the top right corner of the video. Click and turn off the captions 😊

Thank you Selin.
good,come from China
😍
Vallah means wallah which means in Arabic والله which means swearing i swear to god "Allah" and it could be used kinda like "well" but it doesn't mean "well" at all. Turkish has lots of Arabic words and this is one of them and by the way "Galiba" mean "غالباً" in Arabic and it means "mostly" not "i guess". i am a student in Turkey from Egypt and with all respect to the turkish language but they use lots and by saying lots i mean it. lots of phareses from Arabic wrongly like these ones i mentioned. as well as from other languages like french and farsi, that's why turkish language is not an original language that has roots. it doesn't, its a mix with from these languages with their grammar rules.
I am sorry but that's a very rude and inaccurate comment. There is no accurate or original language in the world. Every language has evolved from a combination of many other languages as people have interacted and shared and contributed to the evolution of languages. As a Muslim, I do really like Arabic language however, saying that Arabic is an original language but Turkish isn't is simply ignorance at best. There is no original language in the world because a bunch of humans all over the world have created words and associate them with tangible and intangible stuff. A lot of the grammer that is produced as a result comes from human interaction between different groups of people as I said earlier and it influences all languages greatly. No language in the world has survived on its own without taking and giving something from and to another language. What you call 'authentic' Arabic phrases are authentic to you because you have grown up associating a meaning with those phrases. When Arabic influenced other languages, those indigenous people decided upon the usage of the terms they were adopting. In simple words, there is no authentic phrase in any language that cannot hold a different meaning in another language. It might have a standard meaning in Arabic but any other language that were influenced by it does not follow Arabic rules and regulations. I am not a Turk but let's be honest, no language is original and I am sure you know the languages Arabic was influenced from (see, nothing wrong with having loan words from other languages). You don't have to follow Arabic language structure, vocabulary or grammer to have adopted some of its words just like Arabic doesn't follow the rules of those languages it was influenced by.
Valla, hiç aklıma gelmezdi burda valla kelimesini göreceğim.
Senin sınıfını çok güzel

Valla means valhalla ,not well
Are you kidding?

Did valla in Turkish actually means in the name of my lord? And did tabi ki came from an Arabic word?
Hey there! Yes actually the word "Vallahi" means in the name of my lord (in this case Allah.) and the word "Tabii" came from an Arabic word. If you want more details please reply to this comment with your questions.

From my opinion, learning a language from RUclips was not effective. You want to learn a language? Download an app on your phone or just going to language classes. Peace from an 18 year old Malaysian.
